Other than the irrelevant statistics stated, I have to agree with 242's confession. Users here should understand that S.Korea is a very xenophobic country (they're not used to unfamiliar things, which include different skin tone, culture and uality). While it is true that they are tons of Koreans who are actually gay, lesbian or biual, they fear coming out because it is still not widely accepted in Korea. Which is why s/he felt that there was too big of a pool for applicants who do include lgbt in their applications. This is what I think s/he was trying to convey.

there's this author who comes up with promising applyfic ideas, but the problem is that s/he hasn't started out ANY of her fics, and she has a tons of applyfics opened. she's often praised for original ideas, but no one has ever dare brought up the fact that she has way too many fics going on !
