Lost Stars
Park Jimin and Jinyoung met whilst she was still in the last stages of Kpop Star and Jinyoung was still a trainee at JYP entertainment. He was given a task by PD-nim to show her around, it was common knowledge that Jimin was going to be the winner. PD-nim wanted her to become familiar her new coworkers and surroundings since it was rumoured she would be picking his agency.
Jimin was ecstatic to be inside of the famous JYP building and was introduced to other trainees along with already established idols and actors like 2pm, 2am, Miss A, etc. It was set up by JYP so she would solidify in choosing his agency when she won.
Everyone seemed really nice and accepting and that simple visit reassured her that she would fit in if she signed to this particular agency. Plus, Jinyoung was really sweet and they were quick to develop an oppa-dongsaeng relationship.
Eventually, when Kpop Star ended Jimin became a trainee at JYP and met Baek Yerin, someone she was going to be in a duo with. Yerin and Jimin got along; they had a lot of similarities. They were fluent in English, enjoyed similar genres, and watched the same shows along with being the same age.
Once she became a trainee, Jinyoung and her periodically met up.
