Seohyun's POV:

I ran as fast as I can to the hospital.

When I arrived at the main door,there were a lot of fans.

I couldn't enter,So I waited for like 3 hours.

(After 1 hour)

I can finally enter because Donghae oppa grabbed my arm.

We arrived at the door of the operation room.

I saw him badly wounded,because of me.

(After 5 hours)

Kyuhyun was moved to a room.

"Seohyun-ah!" Donghae oppa called me.

"O-Oh,Donghae oppa." I replied.

"Why did you came here?"

"Umm...I-I...I'm worried about unnie."

"Chincha?Then why are you still here?"

"Mianhe."

"I know the truth.You can go home now,It's already 1am in the morning."

"I gotta g--" Hae oppa cutted me off by saying "Wait,Come with me first."

The he started to walk inside Kyuhyun's room,I followed.

We arrived at his room,good thing no one recognized me.

I saw the horrible condition of Kyuhyun.

"He was drunk while driving..." Donghae oppa started to tell why.

"W-Wae?" I asked even though I know it's my fault.

"He..Crashed in a tree,then the tree fell on his car..He was severely wounded." A tear fell from my eye.I don't know why.

"It's all my fault..If I haven't rejected him.." I confessed.

"Aniyo,don't say that it's your fault."

"It's my fault,I know it." Tears fell from my cheek.

"Seohyun-ah." Donghae oppa hugged me,I felt comforted.

"Oppa,I feel really guilty about this."

"You shouldn't,it's not your fault,don't blame yourself."

Then I went outside and cried,I know it's

I went to the garden and cried as I remember everything.

[A/N:The flashbacks aren't in the previous chapters,It's not that important so I decided not to put it.]

[Flashback]

"Seohyun-ah!Can we take a picture here?" Kyuhyun asked Seohyun who's eating ice cream at the moment.

"Can't you see I'm eating?" Seohyun replied.

"Jebal?"

"After I finish the Ice cream."

"Araso."

"I'm finished!Let's take a picture!"

"What are you two doing?" Donghae asked the two who seems to be occupied

"Taking pictures.Wanna join in oppa?" Seohyun asked

"ANIYO!" Kyuhyun angrily replied.

"Whoah,I have no plans of joining your photo taking session.Chill,Kyu,Chill." Then Donghae walked out the scene.

"Why are you so angry?"

"I just wanna keep pictures of me and you,not you,me and hyung."

"Ugh,this boy."

(After the photo session)

"You look like a goddess here." Kyuhyun pointed

"You look like a monster.Kekeke." Seohyun cheerfully replied

"B-Bwo?"

(Then Seohyun ran and Kyuhyun ran to get Seohyun,then Kyuhyun disappeared)

"Yah!Kyuhyun-shi!Where are you?I don't wanna play anymore." Seohyun shouted

"I'm really serious this time." Seohyun added.

(Then Kyuhyun suddenly hugged Seohyun tight)

"GOTCHA!" Kyuhyun shouted

"YAH!That was cheating." Seohyun pouted

"Aniyo.That was fair."

"Araso,I'm tired,Can you let go now?"

[End of flashback]

Ugh,I remembered that again.We're like couples.

I cried a lot,Then someone tapped my back.

It was Sica unnie.Finally,someone whom I can talk to.

"I know why you're here." Sica unnie said.

"Thanks for being here,now I can talk to someone." I replied while wiping my tears.

"Omo,Seohyun-ah,Your eyes are so red and puffy!"

"Neh,I know."

"So..Kyuhyun is..badly wounded..Why are you so affected?" 

"I'm not affected.I just passed by to check on unnie."

"But me,Hae and Yul are here.Please be honest with me.I'm your best friend,you can trust me!"

"I'm saying the truth."

"I don't believe you.I know everything."

"Ara,I'll say the truth.I was watching TV and I saw the news,I was curious so I went here."

"Something's not right.Just because you're CURIOUS?!"

"N-Neh..."

"No,you're not saying the truth.Just say it,You went here because you're worried."

"I wasn't."

"Yes,I can tell it.You can't stare at me."

"I'll say the truth.I went here because I'm affected and worried.I wanna check on him if he's okay!" Tears drop from my eyes.

"Seohyun-ah.." Sica unnie comforted me

I peeked on the window and saw Kyuhyun's fans trying to barge in inside,they were shouting like crazy.

I don't have any idea why.I try to wipe my tears but it kept falling.

"Unnie,how's Yoona unnie?" I changed the topic.

"She's fine..I'll go now,can you handle yourself?Yul's gonna eat soon."

"N-Neh.Thanks for the time,Unnie." I waved goodbye as unnie disappeared into thin air.

I was alone in that cold and silent garden,wiping my tears as many of them fall.

I was thinking about Kyuhyun.I don't have any idea why,maybe because of the reason why I am here right now.

I decided to walk outside that garden and go home.

Nothing will happen if I stay here,besides,I should keep my promise that I'll forget about him.

But there's something that makes me stay and wait for him.

Ugh,My feet led me outside,seems that it wants to go home.

I decided to go home.But while I was walking,I passed by Kyuhyun's room.

Which was guarded by two armed guy.I saw him,he's hurt.He has a lot of wounds.

I pity the guy I love.Because of me,he suffered this.

I saw Hae oppa sitting on the bench while playing on his phone.

He seems occupied.I decided to walk closer.

"Yah,Seohyun-ah!Wanna play?" He asked,I was shocked that he knew I was there.

"Ani.I just passed by.I'm going home." I replied with a slight smile.

"No,You're gonna stay here."

"Bwo?I thought you want me to go home!"

"It's for Kyuhyun.No one's gonna stay with Kyuhyun."

"The bodyguards are there."

"They're going home later."

"Nurses?"

"Nope.So the only choice..IS YOU."

"But--" Hae oppa cutted me then said "No buts."

"Ara." I accepted. What did I just do?Did I accepted?ANIYO!You're such a babo,Seohyun-ah,You're such a fool.

"Good.I'll be going.Oh,Boys,Let her in,she's gonna be Kyuhyun's guard." Hae oppa instructed the guards.

"Neh." The guards replied.

"Until when?" I asked.

"Until Kyuhyun has recovered,Take care of him.Bye!" Hae oppa ran.

I entered his room and I saw him up close.

So this is the wounded Kyuhyun,still handsome,aye?Just kidding.

How can I think of these things at this situation.Ugh,Stop fooling around Seohyun-ah.

"S..S..Seo.." Kyuhyun in pain muttered.

Then I immediately went outside and sat on the bench crying.I can't help it anymore.

After a few minutes later I went inside again.

Kyuhyun can speak a little.

"Seohyun-ah..W-Why did y..you. we..went o-outside?" He asked me.

Why isn't he asking why I'm here?

"I'm just..Searching for something." I answered coldly.

"Mianhe..Jeongmal Mianhe.." He cried.

I tried to think that I hate him,But I simply can't.

"No need to say sorry,I've already forgotten it all.And most of all..I'VE ALREADY FORGOTTEN YOU."

I didn't and I wouldn't even if you forsake me or deny me in public.

"Is it okay for you to be here?" I can't believe a second ago he was hardly speaking but now,WTH happened?

"Aniyo.The truth is,I don't wanna be with you again.I just did Donghae oppa a favor." I lied.

But the truth is,If I could be with anyone,I'd still be with you.And If I don't,It's because I don't wanna fall in love deeper with you.

"Seohyun-ah,do you know how much I am hurt?" He asked while tears flow down his face.

"No,I don't care about you." I lied again.

Your hurt is nothing compared to mine,But I still love you?Wae?I'm crazy.

"Are you still bitter about what happened the other day?" 

"Aniyo,In fact,I'm over it already.I just don't wanna get hurt again."

Over it?I don't think I can or will get over it.

"Why are you hurt?"

"Because of all the words you said!"

All the words you said are nothing compared to the fact that you're never gonna love me.

"Mianhe."

"I understand."

"Seohyun,another operation will occur later,I have 10% of surviving because of my wounds."

"Good luck."

"But before that I just wanna tell you that..--" Kyuhyun was cutted off by the nurse "Mr. Cho,Now is your operation."

"Oh,I understand.Bye,Seohyun-ah.." He waved goodbye to me.

I pretended to ignore him,but in fact,I was wishing that he'll survive.

(After 2 hours)

Some doctors and nurses went out of the room.

I saw Donghae oppa walking to me.

"The operation is finished.Is he safe?" Hae oppa asked.

"I don't know.They all left without a word." I replied

After that very short convo I entered and check Kyu but then..

Then the electronic monitor on Kyuhyun's side went flat line.

"It can't be!Please,No!" I cried when I saw the flat line on Kyuhyun's electronic monitor.

"Kyuhyun-ah!Don't leave me!" I cried and shouted.

Then the nurses and the doctor went inside the room and ordered us to go outside as they start the resuscitation.

But it didn't worked!They tried a lot of times but the doctor instructed them to stop.

"Donghae-shi,and Seohyun-shi,You know that when resuscitation fails after the flat line..The patient is dead.Mianhe,Kyuhyun's a big loss to us.We already tried our best but this is his time.I'll be back in twenty minutes to get his body." The doctor said while taking his equipments of and leaving the room.

'Tell me this is a dream,a very bad nightmare!" I cried.I totally can't believe it.

"Seohyun-ah,We need to accept the fact that he's gone." Donghae oppa tried to comfort me.

"I can't.I rejected him on our last conversation." I confessed.

"Why?"

"I don't know.I need to be alone." 

"Ara." Hae oppa exited the room.

"Kyuhyun-ah,Mianhe for everything.For rejecting you,hating you,ignoring you,acting cold towards you,But there's one thing I can't pretend I don't..." 
I said.

"And that thing is..LOVE YOU." I said as tears fell from my cheek.

"Saranghae,Kyuhyun-ah,Nan Jeongmal Sarangheyo." I whispered.

But there's one thing I did unexpected.I kissed him,for the first and last time.

After that,I didn't realized I kissed a dead person.

I exited the room and I saw Donghae oppa crying.

"I hated him,he always boss me around even if I was his hyung." He told me.

"When we were young,my mom and dad told me that he's my long lost best friend,Eunhyuk,But the truth is,He's not." Hae oppa added.

"They always force me to play with Kyuhyun,since he doesn't have any friends." 

"Kyuhyun always makes fun of me when we were teenagers."

"But inspite of all that,if he's not there,I'm not that successful."

"Kyuhyun wanted friends,but his mom didn't allow him to since they're really rich and they have a secret and Kyuhyun knows it."

"Kyuhyun is a person who easily trusts,He is kind sometimes and concerned." Hae oppa wiped his tears.

"Sorry." I apologized,they're really close.

"Gwaenchana,You should go home.Thanks for being on his side." Hae oppa said as he enter Kyuhyun's room.

I went home and slept,but before that I texted unnie that the day after tomorrow,I'll be going to Incheon to transfer studies there.

It's about time to forget Kyuhyun,he's gone and he's out of my life.I wanna start a new life,I wanna become the matured Seohyun and forget Kyuhyun who made my heart break..BYE,KYUHYUN-AH.
