"Kim Junmyeon?" A voice from the other end asked. "Yes, this is him speaking." Suho had the privilege to see himself trembling in shock, falling to pieces, and surrendering his whole being to the heavens, when he was informed of the news. "Your husband, he's on life support now." 

 

 

On his way towards the hospital to meet his severely hurt husband, he made time to think about the future ahead of him. Kyungsoo has been in a coma once, where he almost died as well but he made it through. Thank god, for creating a miracle, battling against all odds. But here he is thinking in the depths of his unmeasurable mind, if a miracle would be granted to him for a second time? The tears, the arguments, the pain, and their baby, all swam around his incoherent self, until he found himself suffocating due to the lack of oxygen, partially his fault for stopping breathing.  When he reached kyungsoo's bed, he saw his husband, his lover, his best friend, relying on nothing but a machine. Even if he wasn't the patient, he felt like he needed the machine more as his lungs failed to cooperate in inhaling yet again. He touched the soft cheek, and his forehead, also placing soft kisses along his fingertips. "You were always so beautiful." He muttered under his breath. "Wake up. Wake up so we can talk things out. We need this. We need to sort any misunderstandings left in us. If you still love jongin then, i promise to let you go."    Kyungsoo was squirming inside his own body, battling against his inner self so he'd wake up. He needed to wake up and embrace the crying man. How could something so rational and reasonable be delayed for so long? How couldn't one of them ever suggest that when they were both fine, healthy, and not almost dying? Every time he tried to swim in the surface, someone or something is being pushed against him until he's met with the darkness.  Suho recalled the moment where they had their most recent argument, he had never meant to lash out his abger towards his other half, but he couldn't help it. He was losing him for all it's worth. Cries, lots and lots of pain punished him that night as he waited for his husband to come home. And after a few days, he did but not like how suho expected it to be. He came as if nothing happened, refused for any sort of reconciliation.  By then, kyungsoo's fingers moved slightly, but not enough to stir him awake. Suho tucks him in bed, making sure he's warm before holding him to sleep.  "LUHAN!" "I KNOW YOU'RE HERE LUHAN!" Luhan winced when he heard his name being screamed with so much hatred, so much venom. He smiled when he can already wxpect what would happen to him next. A presence was felt behind him suddenly and luhan smiled sadly. "I've been expecting you, sehun." Suddenly, he felt a pang on his cheek, so powerful it made him fall backwards. "I warned you to not touch him. I warned you and told you how i felt." Luhan's eyes watered in both physical and mental pain before he faced the man he loved the most. "I didn't touch him." "You touched kyungsoo! He almost died because of you!" Sehun yelled so loud that he swore he could have felt the world shaking beneath them. "I'm sorry." Luhan said earnestly. "Sorry doesn't fix things up you . You should die and rot in hell where you deserve to be." Sehun said as he left, hiding the tears that betrayed him in a matter of seconds after he flew off to who knows where.  "Jongin. Listen to me. Kyungsoo is fine." "NO! Why did Luhan have to do it? Why?!" "I don't know Jongin. I honestly don't." "How can you not know? You're in love with him." Jongin meant to sound angry, but he just sounded sad and deprived. "It's all my fault. I should have told him honestly about my feelings." Sehun rubbed the ends of his eyes when he felt himself being teary. Jongin sighed when he saw how broken sehun looked. "Let's head for a walk sehun." They were walking side by side, not too close nor too far from each other. Both needing each other's company to mend their tattered hearts. "Are you still in love with kyungsoo?" Sehun started, with a calming tone. "Yes. It hasn't lessen a bit." Sehun bit back a frown. "Even when you're aware of his feelings towards suho?" The human nodded, staring forward. "What about you and luhan? Any improvements?" Jongin asked as he stared at sehun from the corner of his eyes. "I rejected his love." He croaked out, brokenly. "I love him. God, i love him so much. But it's for the best. We can't be together. I'm so sorry jongin. I used your name to make him believe my lie. He didn't even question it. How could he? After all we've been through, he truly believed that i would be in love with someone that's not him?" Jongin sighed as his mind lingered to the almost dying kyungsoo. "I experienced it once, believing the lie that is. I thought of how crazy it was for someone as perfect as him to be in love with me." "Why? Why did you doubt the truth?" "Because he was too perfect for me. And he said those three words when i was no longer alive. So how can i not?" By then, both of them stopped walking and were just gazing at each other. "He's not going to make it, is he?" Jongin stuttered, biting back a sob. Sehun only shooked his head in response. "You'll finally be able to be with him." Jongin nodded, smiling sadly. "Strangely, the words i've been yearning to hear, don't make me happy anymore."  Through thick and thin they've been together and through thick and thin would they make it through. It's only been a few days since kyungsoo has been admitted to the hospital. The doctor only shook his head sadly when suho asked about his lover's condition yet suho couldn't find it in him to give up just yet. He swore to make things right between them. He muttered even if he knew that there would be no response. "Yet i keep getting this strange feeling that you're in here because of jongin." He traced the outline of the patient. "How i wish you could prove me wrong."  "Kris." The mentioned faced the person calling him before tilting his head, urging him to continue. "Someone has broke the rules." He muttered, voice serious. Kris clicked his tongue in annoyance before playing with the ring on his fingers. He turned it around and around as a smile made it's way to his luscious lips. The smaller, known as Minseok, shuddered as he recalled what he just witnessed; luhan pronouncing his love to sehun. "He broke the rule that you created Kris. He fell in love with another angel." The turning stopped, and kris's eyes snapped open, revealing nothing but pure anger. The cloak on his broad shoulders fell as he flew to where Luhan would be. "You disobeyed the rules luhan!" Kris, the leader of all angels roared. He wasn't pleased as he found out about what happened between the two angels below him. "You are a disgrace. Either you forget about him, or your existence will be erased." Luhan nodded, hiding the tears behind his bangs. "I understand. Till then, please let me be."  "I don't love you."
