Why do I keep holding on?

The world doesn't need me. No one needs me, and I don't need anyone...

Bae Suzy,an 18 year old girl is diagnosed with a very serious sickness that limits her to only have a certain amount of everthing in her life. Including schooling, friends, love, and just living like a normal teenager she always dreams of. She was diagnosed when she was 6 and everything was fine then, all she had to do was take medication and go to daily checkups. However that all changed when she turned 13, during one of her classes that day she suddenly collapsed due to heavy strain on her body. That day since, she has been bed ridden for 5 years.

Constantly beeing watched, checked on, having medication painfully inserted into her, and the countless amount of surgery she had to endure. Suzy was a loving and cheerful girl, her friends adored her and her oozing brightness.She loved to sing and was pretty good at it, she was a good student, had goddess like looks, and had a loving and caring boyfriend. Suzy lost all that in just a few years, when she was admitted to the hospital her friends would visit her and her boyfriend would lovingly embrace her in his arms as if nothing changed. 

As time grew , they got busy and then eventually stopped visiting all together. Got no calls from them and then got a call from her boyfriend just to call it quits. Her family was all she had but knew she was a heavy burden on them making them pay all the hospital bills. She was in pain everyday and screamed desperately for someone to just hold her and say that everything was going to be okay, and that it is worth it living this cruel life. But no one reached out, no one held her her, no one cared.  Suzy grew cold and anti-social, she would put up a cold front in front of othrers but then cry under her sheets every night out of lonelines. She didn't want to trust anyone because she knew they would just leave her, all by herself, with no one to lean on during her most painful and lonely times.

Then one day, the nurse came in with quite a tall boy whose eyes were so beautifully brown and deep, but they looked so lonely like hers. The nurse introduced him saying he is a new patient next door.

Suzy just looked at him blanky and slightly bowed her head while sitting on the hopital bed. The boy just stood there looking into her beautiful brown eyes, they were so warm yet so cold and lonely.  

Then he just suddenly said, "Your eyes...they're just like mine...yearning....longing.....suffering....."

Suzy just looked at the boy surprised, also looking into his sad but warm eyes.
