POV

Whether you believe it or not, but many people, including myself tend to get confused in POV(Point of View) when writing a story. POV is the basically the road way on the street so you know which way you are going.

The literary name for this is what you call omniscient point of view.

There are three POV's

 1st POV

This is where the person is telling the story from themselves, in which you will have the knowledge, emotions and even actions from one person and they tell what they see happen from outside their eyes. 'I, me, mine' are the subjective case you would see.

Ex. I was looking out the window to see a man walk up angrily in my yard.

2nd POV

You use the second-person point of view to address the reader, as I just did. The second person uses the pronouns “you,” “your,” and “yours.” This POV is quite popular in fanfics, but less frequently used in published books. Instead of talking about myself, I'm talking about you as the reader.

Ex. You were looking out the window to see a man walk up angrily in your yard.
