The thing that happens a lot in fanfics is the same usage of words over and over. Repitition. It becomes a repeative because that's all we know or what we remember the most. I noticed this as well in my writing when a person or persons are speaking, we all may use 'Said, Shouted, Moaned, Screamed,etc.' I searched some sites and here is a magnificent list of words .
