Night Changes. -----------------------------------------------     "Guess what Jin!" she jolt in her sleep when her brother barged in without even bother to knock the door. "for the millionth time Minho , can't you knock!?" she groan and throw the pillow towards her brother. he chuckle before jumping onto her queen size bed and shout "you're graduating from high school! woop!" Jinri groan at her annoying brother and push him away "why are you so excited? it's not like you're the one who's graduating" Minho furrow before turning around to his little sister "because , then i won't be worrying about you in school , making troubles" Jinri scoff and punch him on the arm "i did not! and i didn't ask you to look after me" "well yeah , it's not like i wanted to . mom made me" he scoff and got off from the bed and walk out from the room   She's graduating from her high school , which is in few more days and she couldn't say how excited she was. Choi Jinri 17 , graduating from Landcastle High School and is proud of herself. Her brother , Choi Minho , 24 , is currently studying in New York University and came back for 6 months break. Everytime he came back from university , his mother would ask him to look after his little sister in school which irritates him the most but he wouldn't mind about it after doing it for a year.    Jinri blinks once and twice and her eyes met the jar on the table next to her bed and smile softly. A jar with 'Gap Year' written on it. she'd been saving with her money and put it in the jar ever since she starts her first year in high school and now it's getting much more than what she'd expected right from the beginning. She'd listed down places that she will be going for a year and will most probably stay in London for most of the time since her aunt is there.    It excites her the most when the time is getting closer and she will finally free from high school and go to university like her brother. except that she didn't pick out where she wanted to go yet. her parents insist her to go to NYU like Minho but she didn't like it there and much more prefer UCLA in Los Angeles . but nothing is confirmed yet and she just wanted to relax and enjoy her gap year before going to the university and study.   Jinri had always been a good daughter with great greds and performances in her school , just like her brother who is now doing Engineering in NYU. Jinri's much more interested in design and arts and not like her brother at all. "come on Jinri! get up!" she groan at how annoying her brother is and got up from her bed to go for shower.    Landcastle High School is few metres away from her house yet she have to go by car and it's always Minho who takes her to the school and the school looks the same to him , that old collumns and that ugly statue of Mr.GrumpyBee , well .. that's what Minho called , it's a statue of the principal and he never likes him though he's one of the top student in high school back then. "gosh i can't believe they still keep that GrumpyBee statue , it's annoying" groaning Minho before he stops his car before the entrance. "just so you know , your favourite Mr,GrumpyBee is retiring" his eyes widened and stopped his sister from getting out "how? gosh that " but he laughs anyways . Jinri rolls her eyes and hop off of his Jeep and close the door    "don't fetch me , i'll go home with Soojung" said Jinri and walk away "Hey! you didn't tell me the story! don't be late Jinri! tell that to Soojung" he shouted and Jinri just chuckle whilst shaking her head and walks in. The school hallway was always hectic and havoc . Some are running here and there and some are throwing jokes and laughs , some even bullies other students and some are just ignored and left the hallway with books in their hands. "Jinri!" an arm wrap around her shoulders and turns out to be Soojung.   Her best friend since 10 and she is completely different than Jinri . whilst Jinri wears baseball shirt , skinny jeans and sneakers .. she'd wear a dress or a shirt with skirt on the bottom and always flat and high heels. long story short , she's more ferminine than Jinri. and whilst Jinri is five feet seven , Soojung is just five feet five , which makes them even more cuter. "have you heard about the prom?" asked Soojung as they walk towards Jinri's locker "yes and no i'm not going. jeez how many times do i have to tell you , i don't like prom" Soojung laughs and just rest her back on the locker next to Jinri   One thing about Soojung and Jinri is that all the boys at their school can't taking their eyes off of them , especially Soojung since she's the sweetheart that everybody loves and Jinri the girl who managed to get everyone's attention without her being like all those cheerleaders. She doesn't have a boyfriend and so does Soojung. weird enough , they don't even have any interest in any of the boys at school.   Well maybe because Soojung couldn't stop having her eyes on the boyband she'd been to the concert recently and Jinri .. just being Jinri.    "okay then miss Choi. anyways , do you really have to go for your stupid gap year thing?" frowning Soojung causing Jinri to chuckle at her best friend. "yes miss Jung, i'm still going. i told you didn't i , if you wanted to tag along , save up a little. but you didn't and instead you went shopping" Soojung groan and hug herself as she wait for Jinri to finished. "i mean come on , a year is not that long" Soojung scoff and walk away when Jinri closes her locker and walk beside her   "a year is not that long you said. don't you know a year has 365 days.. 12 freaking months you idiot" Jinri laughs and patted her back "oh i'm so gonna miss you blabbering around" said Jinri and laughs before leaving the girl behind , frowning cutely.   High school has been tough for Jinri at least , there's ups and downs during her years in high school. there's a time she had terrible sickness and had to repeat the exam the next year because
