first of all, i would like to apologize for not updating for like 2 weeks ;n; school has been a pain and i barely have time to get on my laptop TT i know this is kind of short cause i wrote it like a week ago and i got busy and so when i came back to it, i lost flow (?) of writing it so :( but do enjoy this! i've got 2 or 3 ideas of oneshots in my mind so i'll write it when i'm free. till then <3

It was 3:20 in the morning. Taehyung turned the door knob slowly as possible, trying not to make any noise. He curses under his breath. If Jungkook ever finds out he came back now at this kind of timing, he was going to be in deep . They have not been spending time with each other so Taehyung had promised Jungkook yesterday that he would come back as soon as he finishes his last appointment at 10pm today but at the last minute, he got called for an urgent surgery. He already knew it. Being a doctor wasn't easy. He had to expect working over time but really, he had no idea working over time meant coming back home at 3am . He enters the dark house and slipped his shoes off before closing the door softly. Now. This was the problem. Jungkook was probably sleeping in their room right now. Taehyung wandered carefully in the dark as he tried to keep it down in order to not wake the younger in the room. He takes off his coat and loosens his tie before ruffling his hair. What am I supposed to do now? he thought, glancing at the room door. He decides. Taehyung walks to the door, stepping closer. He takes a deep breath and opens the door slightly. The room was dimly lit as the table lamp was still on. Damn, he must've fell asleep while waiting for me. Taehyung felt a pang of guilt in his chest. He goes to the bed to find Jungkook sprawled on it, sleeping soundly. Taehyung then lifted the blankets and covered him, ensuring he had warmth. A soft smile played on his lips as he thought how adorable can Jungkook get. Just before he could go off, an arm reached out to him.
