Scene: Dara’s House Early In The Morning

Dara’s POV

As soon as I heard my alarm clock, I stood up from my bed then comb my morning hair, I looked at the mirror and realized that my hair is now short, I know I kinda regret cutting my hair though but somehow I feel refresh. I put my comb down and wear my pair of slipper, I walked outside my room and saw my mother in the kitchen,  I went to her and hug her from behind, she turned around to see me as I let go of her. She then said “good morning my daughter how was your sleep?” I smiled at her and said “I had a dream umma, I dreamt of my prince” I said joking she looked at me with pity eyes then turns around as she washes her hands since she was cutting some veggies, then washed my face as well. I heard her saying “Dara you should start dating, I want you to have time for yourself and be happy, but someone who won’t hurt you so I’ll be peaceful. ARASO?” my eyes widens as I heard her words I pouted and said “Ummaaaaa! Don’t be like that, I promise I’ll let you meet him if ever” I gently kiss her cheek then went to my room get undress so I can have a bath since it's already past 8. After taking a bath mother prepared for my breakfast as I hurried eating it while looking at the clock hanging on the wall. I didn’t care to asked if my older brother went to work already..

As soon as I reached the second floor Jiyong’s department, I saw a familiar figure standing at the corner, it was my brother I went towards him and patted his back for him to look at me, he then turned with a frown on his face saying “uhh Dara” I replied worriedly “something wrong oppa?” he looked around maybe to see if someone is listening from us but people here are busy with their jobs, he said with a low voice “Jiyong-shi just had a meeting at my dept. well he was not in the mood since my depatment is lose so much, so he scolded me” my jaw drop after hearing, then my brother hurriedly say goodbye when he saw Jiyong coming, I went inside Jiyong’s office silently following him, I can tell that I should stay away.

Author’s POV

Jiyong wasn’t in the mood, Dara noticed. She wants to asked about what happened but she was afraid of his strong aura. She excuses herself to Jiyong but he just gestured her to leave. She went to the office bathroom and after she came back, Kiko was already inside the office but Jiyong wasn’t there with her. She hesitates to go in but Kiko already saw her, Kiko raises an eyebrow to her as she walks inside.

Kiko : standing beside Jiyong’s table “well well, you’re still here. Might be the reason why my boyfriend always having a bad mood” she moves and seated on the guess chair

Dara : wasn’t able to greet Kiko “well guess we’re the same” she smiled and reaches for her coffee

Kiko was about to speak up when Jiyong came inside looking her way, then glanced at Dara who is also looking at him.

Jiyong : “uh Kiko, I told you I’m busy today. You should’ve waited for me instead coming here” he kiss her on the cheek and seated on his chair

Kiko “oppa!!! You still haven’t apologize for last night, thought I forgot it ‘cause I’m drunk?” she questioned him but looking at Dara noticing her short hair

Jiyong : rubbing his chin “Kiko I got no time for this, you can go home since I can’t entertain you today” with piled of papers on his table

Kiko : raises an eyebrow then slapped the table “yah! are you acting this way because that is here?” pointing at Dara, Dara looks at her with anger while Jiyong stood up from his seat and raises his voice to Kiko

Jiyong : “KIKO! You shouldn’t call my employee like that! if you're here to agrue then just leave” his eyes widens, Kiko couldn’t believed that he was on Dara’s side now, she was used to be spoiled by him

Dara : “let her, besides she knows who is the real here” suddenly responding to Jiyong with her hands cross on her chest raising eyebrow to Kiko

Kiko went closer to slap Dara's face, but to her surprised Jiyong was beside her grabbing her hand to stop her from doing it while Dara lift her head high like she was confident that Jiyong will stop her. Kiko moves her hand to released it from Jiyong's grip and said

Kiko : “jerk! Didn’t you hear her saying that I’m the here?” her eyes grew bigger with anger “so why take her side? Fire her now!!! she's.. she think she has the right to talk back?” she commanded Jiyong pointing her finger at Dara

Jiyong : “you’re acting immature, you started it right? just go home or else..” Jiyong stop while looking at Kiko, he knows she was hurt but he don't know why he
