Continuation…

Pie still glimpse at them whose eager to prove that Kim is not a tom as she said she isn’t. Kim’s a bit uncomfortable with Jane’s actions but she couldn’t do anything she don’t want to upset her she sighs thinking about what Pei said and Pie why is she like that she playing games ha? She thought.

Kim’s POV

We’re eating here at the restaurant still having chitchats. Pie suddenly asked a question that startled me, “What do you think about Jane, Kim?” She asked. What does she mean by that ha? Is it because of Pei teasing us that we are sweet? Did she misunderstand it? What the hell! I thought this lunch will be okay after all we are friends now or it’s just me who taught were friends. I can feel uneasy when I’m with her I don’t know but it just happens every time. My heart beats fast like I’m going to fall from 22^nd floor of a building.

*Flashback*

I opened the door as I was shocked someone’s in front of me our face are inches apart from each other I can see, her facial expression suddenly change as she saw me. My heart beats fast but why I thought then I almost shout whoa! What are you doing there? As I asked then

She suddenly shouted “who the hell are you?! You’re a guy. ert! Get out before I call a police.” Then we argued she said she’ll prove that I’m not a tom but I already told her the truth. “First of all I don’t like girls, second I never dated one and lastly I haven’t had a girlfriend at all” I said.

*End of flashback*

Pie’s POV

 I was munching my food when I notice Kim is staring blankly at her food. I then stares at her mesmerize by the look of her who would have thought that “she is beautiful and handsome at the same time”. What the hell! am I thinking I must finish my plan or else I’m doomed for sure if my parents find out about this? That my roommate is a tom or just looks like one, they’ll freak-out. You know how elders think, it’s a taboo for them. I really don’t know. How would I explain it to them, even my friends doesn’t know it yet. I just really hope she’ll cooperate with me.

Then she breaks Kim’s reverie.

Pie: Hey, Kim what do you think about Jane? She repeated her question to Kim who is still in her daydreaming state just then. (I hope she said just a friend or I’ll die here instantly, I don’t want to die yet.)

Kim: ah, sorry. Jane she’s kind, sweet and were friends. Yeah, friends. Then she smiled at Jane who is smiling at her the whole time. Pei suddenly cuts Kim off

Pei: Oh you’re her hero and your just friends. AW! He said teasing Jane. Kim then look at Jane and Pei with a confused face. (Clueless ha?!) Pei said in his mind, you’re so innocent Kim. Then giggles.

Jane blushing then excuse herself to go to the lavatory.

Jane: Am guys excuse me for a while I’ll just go to the powder room. Okay? I’ll be back she said. Looking down, she is ashamed that Kim could see her face as red as tomato. Before they could answer she already step away from the table.

At the powder room

Jane stares at herself in the mirror, reminiscing what Kim said “Jane she’s kind, sweet and were friends. Yeah, friends.” The word friend keeps on repeating her mind. Does she really feel that way to me she said? How about me my feelings toward her “I like her since the first day we’ve meet and her smile melt my heart when I see it.” I can’t force her to like me. Her heart‘s telling her she’s just a crush Jane, maybe it’s not her whom you searching for. Her brain telling her no don’t you give up make her yours, she’s your hero and your guardian angel right? But how? She said to herself, I can’t force her to love me. Make her fall for you a voice suddenly echoed in her head. Okay Jane make her fall for you. As she went back she saw Kim looking at Pie she was wondering why all of sudden Kim is interested at Pie. As she approach the table she called Kim.

At the table

Jane: Kim! Kim looked back and saw Jane smiling at her she then smiled back.

Kim; hey Jane. Do u need anything?

Jane: Ah, I was just wondering if we could watch movie after we buy our school supplies.

Kim: okay then I think we still have enough time. You guys want to come? She asked.

Pei: Of course kimmy, I love watching romance movie especially with you. Then he winked at Kim.

Kim: awkward, Kim just half smiled at Pei. How about you Pie & Nerd?

Pie: yes I’ll come.

Kim: And you Nerd?

Nerd just nods at Kim.

Kim: still silent ah… then she smiles at Nerd.

They all finish their meal and went straight to the bookstore to buy their school supplies for tomorrow’s classes.

At the bookstore

Everyone was busy buying their stuff for tomorrow’s class.

Pie: Hmmm… So many stuff to buy I hope I’ll find everything her, I’m lazy to go somewhere else. She said to herself. An image caught her attention it was Kim, she was carrying a basket and busy looking around as if looking for something, then suddenly she stops in front of as shelf full of non-fiction books. Something caught her eyes.

Kim: (talking to herself) I saw this book and I know this book it was the book that yam is talking about, speaking of Yam how she is? Sighed I hope she’s fine we haven’t got in touch for a long time now or maybe it’s not that long I’m just exaggerating it it’s only a week I know she’s busy I don’t blame her, she’s in a new environment now everything is new for her. Haisss… I miss her so much my best friend. (pouted) We never got separated this long since we were kids.  I decided to grab the book, Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher as I was about to leave I saw Pie nearby she seems to look at me but she saw me looking at her she turn her glance away.

Pie: I saw Kim looking at a book as she took it from the shelf her facial expression suddenly change she was sad so sad that her eyes becomes teary but why? I thought as I looked at her from a far. As I looked at her she saw me looking at her. What am I going to do? I asked myself. Just relax Pie my brain says. Okay Pie chill.

Kim walks towards Pie but she decided to change her path cause she don’t want Pie to feel isolated, she went to the other side  and went to the back so Pie wouldn’t see her, then turn to Pie who is looking at some textbooks.

Kim: Pie, she greeted her. Pie was startled with Kim she thought she had left already.

Pie: What the! Do you have to do that? You scared me as she turn her gazed to Kim her eyes narrowed and her eyebrows raised, she was irritated by Kim, but suddenly she felt sorry seeing Kim’s sad face, What happened to her? She asked herself looking at Kim. Kim just stares at the floor.

Kim: Sorry Pie I didn’t mean to scare you. As she was about to leave Pie suddenly called her attention.

Pie: Kim she said. Then she look at Kim straight in the eyes.

Kim: I’m sorry Pie she said. In a sad tone.

Pie: Kim she suddenly blurted what’s wrong?

Kim: Ehmmm… Nothing. I just want to ask you if you need help. Looking at Pie holding a piece of paper.

Pie: No! I can handle this. She said. Suddenly Jane saw them and approach them.

Jane: Kim, Pie what are you doing?

PIE & KIM answered in synchronize NOTHING. Pei and Nerd pop up out of nowhere.

Pei: Oh what do we have here? Scoffed

The three of them answered NOTHING…

Pei: straight to the point ah… Nerd suddenly spoke.

Nerd: Out, damned spot (smirked).

Pei: what are you talking about? Nerd

Kim: she’s talking about Shakespeare she said.

Pei: what Shakespeare are you talking about? I can’t understand. Pie, Jane and Pei staring at Kim confusedly.

Kim: it’s a part of a script in Shakespeare’s play.

Pei: Oh I see… still confused

Jane: I didn’t know you are a Nerd type. Jane looking at Kim teasingly.

Kim just scratch her neck. Then blurted.

Kim; No, I’m not but my best friend is. speaking about that Kim tone becomes sad all of a sudden. Thinking about Yam. How is she suddenly she remembered the unknown call early this morning. So she excuse herself and grab her phone in her pocket and dialed the number once again as she heads her way near the exit. I hope it will connect she’s murmuring to herself and it did ring.

*ring* after 5 long agonizing rings someone pick up.

Kim: Hello. But suddenly the line got disconnected again. She tried to call again but nothing happened.

THE NUMBER YOU DIALLED IS TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTED TRY AGAIN LATER…

Kim: Damn! She almost yelled. After few tries.

Everyone near the exit stared at her. Embarrassed she apologies to them.

Kim: Sorry I didn’t mean to shout and bowed her head.

Jane approach her together with her other friends.

Pei: Hey kimmy what wrong? He asked. Kim still her head low and answered.

Kim: nothing. And said if you are all done can we leave now? She asked and half smiled at everyone.

They approach the counter and pay for the stuff they bought for school.

A/N: My update today is quite confusing sorry about this I was just not in a mood to write my brain is not quite functioning well for I haven’t sleep a lot lately. I’m having some personal issues.
