When the movie ended it’s almost 6 o’clock in the evening so decided to eat an early dinner, Pei suggested a newly opened restaurant that serves Italian food. As they arrive at the restaurant it’s already crowded for it was Sunday family day, as they find sit that can occupy them, they bump into Meena who was with her friends.

Jane: Meena, hi. What are doing here she asked.

Meena: Oh, hi I’m with my friends we just had some shopping. Pointing to her friends at the far end of the restaurant.

Jane: well we also did the same, we shop for tomorrows requirements. Meena looking at Jane friends. And Jane notice it.

Jane: sorry I almost forgot this are my friends, Pie, Nerd, Pei and Kim. They all said hi to Meena except for Kim who is busy with her phone.

Meena: hi I’m Meena as she extends her hand to Kim who is still all focused on her phone. Then Pei elbowed Kim.

Kim: Why Pei? Is there any problem? They all look at Kim and smirk. Then Meena again spoke.

Meena: Hi I’m meena. As she look at Kim intently. Kim was startled when she notice a hand in front of her.

Kim: oh I didn’t mean to be rude I didn’t notice you, By the way I’m Kim. Smiling apologically at Meena.

Meena: It’s okay nothing to worry. Nice to meet Then Jane cuts her out to break the awkward situations.

Jane: By the way guys Meena is our dorm student representative. Then smiled to Meena who couldn’t take off her eyes from Kim who just smiled at her the whole time. Then she turn her head and smiled to the others shyly.

Meena: If you guys need help or something you can approach me I’m just in the room 307 so if you have time you can stop by. Nice meeting you guys and she wave goodbye at them, then left to join her friends. After Meena left they were left standing there then Pie breaks the silence.

Pie: Come on guys we need to find a sit if we want to eat as she walks towards an empty table. Then the rest of them just followed her.

Pei: You have another admirer ha?! Kimmy…

Kim’s POV

When I was focusing on watching the movie I suddenly heard someone sobbing as I turn my head from my left then to my right I notice Pie’s eyes is teary. She notice me looking at her and she wiped her tears. To stop the awkward situation, so I try to open a conversation but ending up in a quote “Apparently life is unfair we never know we are bound as time goes on.”  Then she look at me with an unexplainable facial expression I felt Goosebumps all over me did I said something stupid I thought as I face palm, myself in my thoughts. I grab my hanky inside my pocket and gave it her as she’s about to get it our palm touched, it felt good her palm is soft and warm. She then smiled awkwardly and wipe her tears. After a few more minutes the movie ended. We went out of the cinema and Pei keeps on clinging at me then Pei and Pie had an argument because of me I guess I’m a magnet in trouble haizzz… gladly there was Jane to the rescue or else I’ll be dead by then. We all decided to eat before returning to our dorm, as we walk to the restaurant receive a text from P’Air asking me how’s my first day to the dorm and I told her what happened and told her not to worry as I was texting we reach the restaurant and try to find a sit then Jane suddenly bump into someone. I guess they have known each other not quite long for I can see an awkward gestures in Jane. As se said hi to everyone I didn’t notice her as I was busy texting my sister and accidentally told her that we ate at a seafood restaurant. Luckily she didn’t read it after I texted the message to her for she was busy driving going somewhere else I hope she forgets to read the message as I silently talk to myself. Pei elbowed me all of a sudden and I was shocked with that, then I saw a hand in front of me reaching out as I lift my head up it was Meena, Jane’s friend I quickly apologize to her then took her hand to shake it. I saw her smile as our eyes meet she’s kind and cute as she’s about to speak again Jane cut her off  and told us she’s our dorm student representative also if we need something will just asked her I just smiled at her the whole time. When she left we were all standing there as we looked at her walking towards her friend so we forgot that we need to eat because of her then Pie broke the silence and lead us to our sits. Pei tease me again as he was looking at me with a naughty smile. I just ignore him or else it’s going to be an awful evening again. After eating I drove them to our dorms. Pei was the first one to leave for he has a separate dorm with us few blocks from the campus. Before he left, he did something naught again, he knock on my cars window and as I opened it he threw I flying kiss at me then told me goodbye and goodnight flirtatiously. Winking at me. Oh God!

Pei: kimmy… catch this as he threw a kiss at me. Then he bid goodbye and goodnight to me then flirtatiously wink at me.

Kim: I just shook my head in disbelief. Jane cut him off.

Jane: go now Cleopatra! And she pull up the window switch to close the window, then she looked at Kim and smiled awkwardly.

Few minutes later they reach the dorm.

Jane’s POV

Since this noon Kim is kinda spacing out after the incident at the bookstore. I don’t know, but we don’t know each other that much long and still I really think something is bothering her. During the time that we were at cinema watching the movie the faults from our star at first she’s in her reverie but she change after our chitchat and I can see her focusing at the movie. After a while we heard a sobbing sound but at first I didn’t mind it because I thought it was someone at the back. All of a sudden I notice Kim was glancing around as if searching from where the sound was coming. It was Pie who was crying I saw Kim trying to comfort her I pretended not to know for I would like to know Pie reaction towards her at first she was hesitating to get Kim’s hanky but in the end she grab it. I felt relief for I believe the tension between them had already subsided because of Pei’s teasing. I want them to be friends as well for Pie is like my sister since we were young were together. But there’s a thing I was worried, I know Pie parents have different views about unusual orientation specially toms and gays for them it’s unnatural. I just hope Pie could accept Kim as our friend. Before Pei left he again tease Kim but this time she’s cool about it. I don’t know but I think she’s getting used to his teasing.

At the parking Lot

Nerd and Pie bid goodbye at Kim and thanks her for the ride and left. While Jane hasn’t left Kim yet. Kim got out from the car and walks towards the garden, Jane followed her without noticing Pie and Nerd are looking at them as they walk towards the dorm entrance.

At the garden

Kim sat down on a bench near the fountain to inhale some fresh air as she was a bit tired and dizzy. She closed her eyes and inhale some fresh air as she sat, then someone suddenly spoke beside her.

Jane: may I sit here? Pointing at the bench looking at Kim whose eyes are still closed.

Kim: yes. She said as she opened her eyes and turned her head towards the voice. It was Jane. What are you doing her? She asked

Jane; Nothing I just want to breathe some air. Closing her eyes and inhaling some air.

Kim then looked at her and turn her gazed at the sky looking at the stars. There were silence between them for a while then suddenly Kim stood up and told Jane that she’ll be leaving.

Kim: Uhm… Jane I’ll better get going its already late and I need to do something else. As she was about to leave Jane spoke.

Jane: wait for me Kim. She said and stand. As they were walking to the elevator Jane suddenly asked Kim.

Jane: Kim are you okay? Then looked at Kim then at the ground.

Kim: what do you mean by that? Narrowed eyes looking at Jane.

Jane: Uhm… I’ve notice that your being silent since we left the cinema, it is because of Pei teasing you? She asked staring at Kim’s waiting for her reaction.

Kim: I’m okay, don’t worry. I think Pei is just being naughty. Then the elevator opens and they enter.

Jane: well is that so thank you for everything Kim. As they parted ways when they reach 3^rd floor.

Kim: Nah… it’s nothing I’m glad to meet you and your friends, bye she said as they parted ways. Before she walks to other side she glanced at Jane who is walking to the hallway to her room as Jane had disappear from her sight she walks to the hallway to her room. Before she opened her door she sighed, thinking what happened to her and Pie earlier.

At Kim and Pie’s room

Kim slowly turned the door knob at I wasn’t locked she tiptoed as she gets in so Pie wouldn’t wake up if she’s already asleep. As she took off her shoes she notice someone is taking a bath. Maybe it’s her she thought. She went to her cupboard and get a shirt and short then quickly change before Pie could get out from the bathroom and it would be another terrible screaming and shouting episodes again as she think of it. She shook her head and wear her shorts and grab her first aid kit get her Epipen for her allergy as she started to feel itchy around and a bit lightheadedness. She then sat on her bed and administer it and massage her thigh to relax it a bit, as she reach for her glass of water she place the Epipen on the bedside table and laid herself in bed raising her feet put a pillow under it and slumbered.

After a while Pie got out of the bathroom and saw Kim’s shoes. She’s here she said to herself as she dries her hair with towel she saw Kim already sleeping as she walks to her bed and murmured is she always like this absent minded and sleepy. Then she shook her head. She was about to walk towards her bed when she notice a pen with a needle on the tip and was curious she pick it up from the bedside table of Kim, as she read it’s label. It says Epipen she wonders what is it, then suddenly Kim’s phone rings on the bedside table she was shocked and quickly sat on her bed pretending to dry her hair. Kim got up and sat on her bed as she grab her phone to answer it.

Kim: hello, P’air.

P’air: Hey tiger what happened to you?

Kim: I’m okay P. don’t worry.

P’air: How come you ate seafood when you know, that you have allergy.

Kim: It’s been a long time since I have the allergy okay? Last time I ate seafood I was fine so don’t worry okay.

P’air: Do you have the Epipen with you?

Kim: Yes, I already administer the Epipen minutes ago. I just need to rest and I’ll be fine.

P’air: Are you sure? I call an ambulance if your symptoms persist after a few hours okay? Just call me if you need something.

Kim: I’m really okay P, please don’t tell mom or else she’ll be worried okay?

P’air: Okay just make sure to call me if you’re not feeling well.

Kim: Yeah sure P. Thanks goodnight.

Pie looked at Kim confused. What she has allergy why she didn’t tell us a while ago? What did she ate? She asked herself as she looks at Kim. Then she remember at the seafood restaurant early this noon she was skeptical in eating there and she asked the waiter for special order. Is that it? She has seafood allergy?

As Kim ended the call she saw Pie staring blankly at her. Did she listen to my conversation with P’air she thought as she glanced at her? Then she return her phone to her bedside table then talked to Pie.

Kim: ehem… Pie are you okay?

Pie: ah…hh…y.y.. yes. Then looks at Kim’s a bit sore mouth.

Pie: Kim your mouth is a bit sore. Pointing to Kim’s mouth.

Kim: Yes I know. Then frowned and stared at her lap.

Pie: what! You know? Looking at Kim confusingly.

Kim: Hmmm… yes. Still looking down to her lap then suddenly Pie gets up from her bed then approach Kim.

Pie: what is happening to you then? Looking at Kim concerned. Kim was startled and flinch as she saw Pie standing on her bedside.

Kim: I have an allergy. Then wait for pie’s reaction.

Pie: what! Almost yelling.

Kim: hey, hey relax okay? Everyone else might be sleeping already. As she put her index finger in to signal Pie to tone down her voice and be quiet.

Pie: Ooppss sorry. But why didn’t you tell us earlier? Have you ate something bad for you?

Kim: Sorry, I just don’t want to burden you guys. Uhmmm… I’m allergy to seafood actually.

Pie: oh that’s why… but are you okay? Now

Kim: y…yes… then nods I already administer my medicine as she reach for the Epipen on the bedside table showing it Pie.

Pie: alright then. She then nods and went to her bed. Kim watch her as she went to her bed.

Kim: she’s concern ha… she said to herself, this princess sometimes can be moody and still be nice haizzz… what a day. She said and laid on her bed.
