"Really, I don't see why you need to interview us." One of the maids, Tymee, groaned.

"Yeah, we didn't do anything!" The other grumbled.

"You , you stole my thunder!"

"Guess who's not getting any this week then? You!"

Chanyeol slammed his hand into his face, exasperated. If this continued anymore he would crack, and it wouldn't be pretty. I looked at Chanyeol, feeling sorry for my assistant. I decided to take matters into my own hands.

"Ladies, please calm down. We're interviewing all the workers at this house, not just you two. We just to need to know what you know about the case so we can solve it."

"Well, I don't know much. Tymee usually cleans Mr Dok2's room, he's very persnickety about how he wants things." Jolly V said, looking at her girlfriend.

"He wouldn't even let me into his room on Wednesday, I wouldn't have been able to see any evidence!" Tymee cried, she couldn't get in trouble, not now. I raised an eyebrow, dramatics always bothered me.

"When you were cleaning his room did you notice anything?" I asked Tymee. The maid chewed her lower lip in thought, trying to remember.

"Yeah, the floor by the window was polished clean, and before then it was in need of a good mopping." Tymee said, crossing and defrosting her legs. I grinned, we're getting somewhere now.

"Now who in this house could have done that?" I questioned, we might be able to solve the case that day.

The two maids looked at each-other, conversing silently. Jolly V tilted her head to the side and finally spoke. "San could, if he got that acidic pesticide. Or one of the cooks, they could have done that. Some of our cleaning supplies polish floors but we weren't let in there, so rule us out."

I nodded, glancing at Chanyeol, who was scrawling away in the notebook. "So you're blaming them?"

Both nodded quickly. "Yessir. The gardener is always real suspicious looking and nobody ever knows what the cooks are up to."

"The cooks are like a weird cult, they're always up to something. No one in the house really talks to them." Jolly V added, crossing her arms.

Chanyeol decided to pipe up. "Would the cooks have any means of removing his hairline?" I smiled, finally he was proving himself a second in command. Maybe when he is my age he will be like me, a grand detective. He already has the looks.

"Nochang, the head chef, his sister works in the apothecary." Jolly V yelled.

"Kyung comes from the countryside, there's lots of witches there!" Tymee added.

"Hanbin just looks shady." Jolly V said.

"So you're just guessing?" Chanyeol concluded, looking cutely disappointed. I patted his back, this new case had been taking a tole on both of us.

"Sweetheart, we just know." Tymee cooed, Jolly. V nodding intensely in the background. Chanyeol looked completely crestfallen, eyes pointing down. I signaled to the two maids so they could leave, and pulled Chanyeol into a hug.
