This was our happy place

We walked to the park which was my happy place.Why? Because it was peaceful.You can hear the wind blowing,birds chirping and you can smell the fresh flowers and the clean grass.And my spot?

On the big tree that gives you shade when it's sunny and a place to stay when it's raining. And infront of it,is the beautiful scenery of the city

"Woah,it's nice here" Chanyeol said in astonishment "Uh huh" I nod while smiling

"How come there's no people around here?" he asked while spinning around,gesturing at the place

I chuckled "Well,because...I don't know.But not a lot of people come here.Whenever I go here,it's just me and this beautiful nature.Come on let's sit there!" I pulled him to the tree

"Wow,the view" he said in awe

"I know right?" i said

"So why is this your happy place?" Chanyeol asked

"Because here,I can think,here,I can smile freely,cry freely and talk to myself without anyone thinking that I'm crazy." He was listening to me intently and waiting for my next words

"And this is the first place that made me smile months after my parents died" I said as I close my eyes remembering the scene

"After they died,I wasn't myself.I was only seven for christ's sakes,I needed them.For months i didn't speak,not to anyone,not to Minhi.But one night I had a bad dream and I got up and started to run

even if I don't know where to go.Even if I have nowhere to go.Then I ended up here.I heard the peaceful night,I see the perfect scenery.And the wind blowing is so refreshing,it just made me smile and made me come back to my senses" I said he was still listening which I was thankful for

"Ever since,I told myself,People come and go.No matter how much they have worthed,you will definitely feel the pain.And it will .But in time,you have to let go" I said and I didn't notice that a tear fell from my face 

and Chanyeol wiped it

"Hey,I'm sorry, didn't mean to.Please don't cry" he said while wiping away my tears

I finally shook it off and smiled "Aish,sorry,didn't mean to be dramatic or something.So yeah,that's why this is my happy place you're the first person that I brought here,besides from Minhi" I said to him

"Well I'm honored.And I would love to share this place with you if you'd allow me.You don't have to be alone.

You have me" 

he said and I can't help but smile at his words
