[CHAPTER 2]

I managed to control myself not to burst out in anger by biting my lower lip. After the phone session with Minseok, I felt my blood boiling inside my system. Luhan was in Seoul, and he probably was staying at Nowon. It was like after century since the last time we met. Meeting him in Seoul was the last thing I wished to happen after all he had done with me for recent years. I missed him so bad, but it didn’t mean that I was ready to face him, yet I was more than just curious to see him right now.

I walked outside the dormitory to get some fresh air. Since it was summer, I was wearing only my white V-necked shirt, combined with blue pants and I tied my hair in a messy ponytail. I reached my earphone and plugged it on my I-phone, ready to jog.

The weather was very nice, a little too enjoying me to forget about the Luhan thing till I heard someone yelling out loud. Unplugging my earphone, I sneaked a peek behind the wall. Who taught me to be eavesdropper, by the way? I knew it wasn’t a good action, considering it was none of my business, but somehow I felt an urge to know something, at least hearing all the conversation behind the wall was a perfect choice.

“I told you to leave me!”

I didn’t really know who the person was, because he was covered by the tall man in suit. His voice was clear, and somehow I felt it was too familiar.

“You don’t need to take care of me since I can manage everything with my own hands. Just go with your new girlfriend or even s or whatever you wish to sleep with, I don’t care and I don’ want—”

His voice was gone as I heard the sound of slap. It was really loud till I could assume it might leave a mark on his face. Just, who exactly was that boy?

I kept watching at the scene I shouldn’t have been watching from the beginning, but my eyes seemed to not listen to my commands, and I just realized something that eyes weren’t ears. I narrowed my eyes just because I wanted to see the shorter guy in detail after the taller man is gone. He clenched his fists but his head kept gazing at the ground. Only after the tall man had finally reached his car, he looked up to the sky and I widened my eyes in surprise.

“Isn’t that guy Baek whoaaaaaa—!!!”

“Having fun, young lady?”

Oh crap, not this man again. I could easily recognize him because of his deep voice. He’s no other than my classmate, the tallest one among the others, the one who had goofy face yet creepy smile, the annoying one. Park Chanyeol.

“What the hell are you doing here, huh?” I darted my gaze at his eyes, but he was just smiling widely. Shrugging, he let go of my hand which was held by his. “I should be the one asking you, anyway.” He answered, raising one of his eyebrows.

“Who’s there?”

“Baekhyun-ah, I found something behind this wall! May you come to see?”

WHAT?!

I cursed under my breathe as Chanyeol waved his hand and that Baekhyun guy came over, approaching me who desperately was trapped between the wall and Chanyeol’s giant body.  I bit my lower lip as nervousness enveloped my body.

“N-no! Don’t be misunderstanding, okay. I was just, I was just walking for air then I accidentally—”

“Oh, it is you. Didn’t I tell you to come over my room at seven in this evening, miss?”

Damn! It was even worse than coming to your room okay, Mr. Shorty.  “I-I’ve gotten my key back.” Why was I trembling? The moment when he came closer and cut the distance between us was really unexplainable. I could feel the warmth from his breath as he placed his face in front of me, leaning closer and I couldn’t help but holding my breath.

“So, Sehun gave you the key already?”

“Yes.”

I gulped my saliva, realizing how close we were. I shouldn’t be trembling, but what the heck was happening to my body when the scent of his perfume approached my lung?

Clenching his fists, I saw him closing his eyes for a moment then opened it slowly. I couldn’t read his expression because I was busy taking breath. “How long have you been here, anyway?” He asked, his gaze was boring me till I couldn’t help but biting my lip in nervous.

“I told you already that I was walking for air then I accidentally saw a tall man in suit, and because I didn’t want to disturb you and whoever you were talking with earlier, so I decided to hide my body behind this wall and I swear,” I paused to gather oxygen before continuing my explanation, “I didn’t hear anything except your yell. And the scene when you got slapped wasn’t even in my thoughts before, so I just really want to say sorry for watching that. It’s all. I think I have nothing to discuss anymore and I promise I won’t tell anyone, so just let go of me.”

“Not before I see Sehun. So, just stay here.”

“God, what exactly is your problem with me, Mister? I don’t remember I have debt or anything, and you just drag me into your problem. I think this school is a problem itself. Just let go of me or I’ll scream, I’m warning you!”

I heard him laughing, not exactly a laugh, but it sounded like he was teasing me with his fake laugh. Chanyeol just gave me his trademark goofy face, and I managed to control myself under the pressure of Baekhyun.

“Let me tell you, Young Lady. First, I am the grandson of school principal. Second, every new student must get a treat from me before he or she could sleep in peace. And third, if you’re willing to yell, just make sure you’ll get help because no matter how loud your scream will be, there’s no one going to help you unless they want to get punished by me. Understand?”

“Are you son of Lord Devil or what?”

“Well, Son of Devil couldn’t be this perfect.”

Baekhyun smirked as he finished his sentence. I was cursing the boss of my mother in my thoughts for entering me to this school. It was just my first day, and still there are years ahead I had to pass.

“So, what do you want from me?”

“Are you not tired, Baekhyun?”

I jerked my eyes and found Sehun standing against the pillar. He was bringing a cup of bubble tea, and his face remained poker, as always.

“Well, the betrayer is already here. How was your day Mr. Oh Sehun? Are you happy now?” Baekhyun let a smirk crossed his cheek, raising one of his eyebrows, he put his hands inside his pockets and walked towards Sehun who was still standing across us. “Just tell me, Sehun. Why did you give the key back to her? You know I trust you the most. I can’t believe that you’re betraying me.”

“Stop acting so rude, Baek. I’m tired. Just let go of her alr
