It’s my first work again after the entire saga. Daniel was fearful at first, then forgiving, and then patient. But now four months after the entire thing has passed, he was no longer keen in waiting. So here I was standing in the middle of the entire shoot as the photographer started shooting in all different angles.
I was focused, but not on the right thing. There sat En in the corner of the room with her laptop as she typed furiously away.
Her brows creased a little, and mine creased unknowingly too.
“Good!” The photographer shouted.
And yet the next second her expression lightened up as she gave a little smile, and I smiled a little one too.
“Fantastic!” The photographer shouted again.
And then finally she broke into a wide smile, and I gave a wide grin.
“BLOODY WELL DONE LU HAN, NOW STOP STARING AT YOUR WIFE AND IMITATING HER EXPRESSION, YOU ARE THE MODEL HERE.”
Oops. But it was worth every bit of embarrassment, because En simply looked up at the commotion and gave a loud chortle.
That amazing sound, all for me.
