"What do you want?" She asked the ever so annoying boy who sat at her table in art, Lee Ki Kwang, year 11, never knows when to stop talking, "I have important things to do and I don't want you to waste my time." The only time they would speak would be when she id telling him to be quiet followed by a small arguement. They were in a hall and people began filling the ends also curious as to why Ki Kwang would want to talk to her, she was too.

     He called her by her real name which shocked her and the crods, "I like you, don't call me Ki Kwang Sunbae nim anymore, call me Ki Kwang Oppa. I want you to date me." She gave him a confused look, it seemed as if her messages of hate towards him were never sent. "You have a pretty face, a pretty voice, I like you." The crowd was now murmuring and was filled with gasps from his confession.

     "No," she replied sternly crossing her arms.

     "Why? If you date me then you'll be popular and I'll walk you home everyday, I'll eat lunch with you everyday, I'll always call you and text you."

     "I don't like you."

     "Lies, you're always looking at me. You'll do anything to talk to me, that's why you're also telling me to shut up."

     "I tell you to shut up because you're loud and annoying. I won't date you because I don't like you the tiniest bit."

     "Tell me really why. I know that you secretly like me." She knew that shouldn't just say that she didn't like him anymore, he was too much of an idiot to understand, so she came up with a reasonable lie.

     "I have a boyfriend already."

     "Proof, I want proof. You must have pictures of you and your boyfriend on your phone. Show me."

     "I don't have any pictures with him."

     "See! You don't have a boyfriend, so you have no reason not to date me."

     "Lee Ki Kwang, why are you harrassing my girlfriend?" a voice boomed from the crowd, people made space and the person was revealed to be Tae Il, "She already said she doesn't like you and even said she has a boyfriend which is me. Leave her alone okay? Let's go my lovely girlfriend," her said emphasisng the word"girlfriend". The crowd was now gossiping and everybody seemed shocked. Tae Il grabbed her hand making her face feel hot and quickly redden, he pulled her away from the crowd and let go of her hand as soon as they were alone. "Sorry, I just needed to help," he shyly said letting his hand go while she was still in a daze, "Hey, you okay?"

     "What? Yeah I'm fine, thank you Tae Il Sunbae nim."

     "That's good, I think to be safe for a while since the whole school thinks we're dating," he began getting her hopes up. She thought that this would finally be the moment that they would be a real couple. "We should pretend to be dating in school." The hopeful look in her eyes dissolved as continued to talk and she understood he completely the moment he said, "You're like my sister and I want to look out for you."

     Screaming and curse words could be heard throughout the house, the only person to actually make it go away was the person who was irritated the most. Min Hyuk ran up the stairs and entered Tofu's room while she was angrily moping which he didn't know was possible until today.

     "Seriously, shut up!" He groaned, "I have to study and you're too loud so I can't concentrate."

     "Go away, tell Tae Il to leave me alone too. I don't need his help," she spat and walked to her desk, he couldn't handle her being anymore of an "angsty teenager" than she already was.

     "Why, what happened?" He said in a bored tone sitting on her bed.

     "He doesn't like me but yet he expects me to pretend date him for my own good. I don't want too unless he does like me and he obviously doesn't so tell him to leave me alone." When he heard her answer he bursted out in laughter, "Stop laughing Oppa, it's not funny."

     "You're right, it's not," he said getting serious, "It's hilarious! Jesus you're angry over that. Man, how am I related to you." He kept laughing while she was shooting him angry looks, "Fine, if it means that much I'll talk to Tae Il for you."

     "Thank you Oppa," she sang happily after getting what she wanted, Min Hyuk muttered a whatever and left the room. He was going to talk to Tae Il, but he wouldn't be following his sister's wishes.

     Tofu found herself often getting stares from other classmates after th r fiasco with Ki Kwang and Tae Il. After that day it was a weekends so no one knew what went on after that. When Tofu walked to her seat in art class there Ki Kwang was quietly waiting. She couldn't help but pity the boy for hurting his feelings in front of half of the school, but he was just too dense.

     "Hello Ki Kwang Sunbae nim," she shyly said sitting down next to him, "Did you do anything fun this weekend?" He was quiet and that was a first. "Well I just stayed home and watched movies, maybe you can watch with me sometime?" She wanted a way to say sorry to him and the only idea was to go on a pity date with him.

     "What about your boyfriend?" He spat glaring at Tae Il's direction.

     "He's not my boyfriend, he just lied," she admitted, "Which is why I invited you to hang out with me. Is that okay?" Ki Kwang's face lit up and gave Tofu a sudden hug.

     "Really? Then today we'll study together after school and do some other things. I'll go to your class after school to pick you up. Does this mean you're willing to give me a chance?" She nodded her head happily and Ki Kwang wore a bright smile on his face. The smile was contagious that Tofu couldn't help but crack a smile too, she thought to herself that maybe she could learn to like to him.

     Her classes rolled and by the end of the day she found herself excited to meet with Ki Kwang. She packed her backpack and patiently waited for him to show whole being the only one left in the classroom,  minutes passed by and there was still no sign of him.

     "Did he really ditch me?" She thought aloud, she walked towards the door and peeked her head out. The halls were empty and it seemed as if everyone had left, "Ki Kwang Sunbae nim, " she loudly sang not wanting to leave the class. She kept looking on the left and right sides hoping for him to show up. After twenty more minutes of waiting she prepared to leave until a figure came running towards her. "Ki Kwang Sunbae nim,  where were you?"

     She felt relieved to see him, but as he came closer it became more obvious it wasn't him. She wanted to start walking in the other direction, but her feet felt like they were super glued to the floor. The person came closer and her heart beated faster from being nervous. She wanted to , "Go away! Leave me alone." Although instead she said, "Have you seen Ki Kwang Sunbae nim?"

     "Tofu, Min Hyuk told me something," Tae Il began making her palms feel sweaty.

     "Sorry, I didnt mean to hurt yout feelings," she said hoping her brother hadn't betrayed her so easily. The thought of it made Tofu want to tear her brother to pieces and beaut him to a pulp. "I have to go though. Ki Kwang Sunbae nim was supposed to meet with me," she said with her head low, she slowly removed her feet from where she was standing and walked at the slowest pace possible. She was trying to force her legs to move fastee, but th e refused to.

     "I wouldn't have done that if I knew you like me." She kept walking, but she was listening to what Tae Il was saying. She couldn't face him though because she could tell he was trying put her down, "If it means anything I think you're really cute and nice."

     He was going to continue but he was interrupted by a sudden voice, "Ki Kwang Sunbae nim,  where have you been?"

     "Sorry for making you wait, I got caught with some last minute things. I'm here now so let's go." She smiled and walked with Ki Kwang to exit the building. She never got to hear the last few words Tae Il was going to say bexams she didnt want to. She knew it was going to be hard so she wanted to move on without having to mope.
