And I Felt "Special"...? PSH.
...and She Was Such A !“You’re a pretty good baller MiCha,” Chansung said to me as class bell rang and everyone scattered, I had no one to walk with to this class. I picked up my belongings as he continued talking. “Even while PMS-ing,” I heard him say smugly.
I looked at him and threw him a smirk, “Thank you. Pretty good even after a personal foul,” I said rubbing my with a hurt expression, gesturing to his banana peel incident.
He laughed at me, “I didn’t mean to,”
“Yeah, uhuh, all the other ballers try to get after me too, they get -hurt after losing to a girl,” I replied. It’s true; other guys get really heated up. One almost got into a fight with me, but my friends were there to calm him down. Talk about gentleman right?
“Oh really?” He said raising his eyebrows, “I wouldn’t mind, well since it’s you,” He said as I neared my class door. I stopped to open the door but he turned around, walking backwards and winked. “You seem like a cool girl,”
Now I raised my eyebrows. What the hell was he thinking? Babo banana boy, psh. I smiled anyways waving my hand like a little girl, “Bye Chansung,” I said stupidly, rolling my eyes. As I walked to my seat passing the full class, I replayed what had happened. Oddly enough, I felt ‘special’ which is not normal for me. I ball with guys all the time… hmm.
Then the class door opened again and Jessica walked in, but before, she loudly yelled, “Hi Chansung!” very flirtatiously. Oh, of course, one of those guys. Special feeling gone. Babo banana boy.
Jessica sat near me, but of course, we never talked. Hey, I’d rather not talk to her if I have nothing nice to say anyways.
“Oh Hyomin,” Jessica started exchanging news I found totally and extremely irrelevant. Plus, these nicknames, can you just please stick with your Birth-given names? Goodness, these fake little...
But then a certain babo’s name caught my attention. Ugh, darn me.
“Sica!!! When are you asking Chansung to the dance?!” The girl next to me asked Jessica.
She just rolled her eyes, “I have my ways,”
Then the teacher scolded them, thank goodness, “SunYoung! SooYeon! Turn around and listen!”
Good, now I, more importantly, can listen.
Finally, it was the end of school. I met up with Dongwoon to walk home, and guess who was walking with Dongwoonie? Why do I keep seeing him today.
“Hi Babo Banana Boy,” I said nodding to him, and then to Dongwoon, “Dongwoonie,” I said as I walked with them.
“Excuse me miss, What?” Chansung said bending to look at me at Dongwoon’s side.
“What? Huh? What are you talking about?” I said looking confused. “You really are a babo, aren’t you?” I said hushed.
He looked at me with a smart expression, “Ah, I see, we’re giving each other nicknames,” He said and straightened up. Then Jessica and that Hyomin girl come around, smiling all pretty. “Chansung,” Jessica says. Wow, now really looking at them, Jessica and that Hyomin really look a like. Maybe Hyomin is her minion or something. Oh geeze, now I’m calling them by their stupid nicknames. Well I guess it sorta makes sense because they’re so fake and rude and think they’re cool and superior to everyone, that they shouldn’t be called their natural birth names. Ugh, my weird logic.
“Sica-shi!” He said smiling and waving to us. “Peace Dongwoonie, and,” He paused for awhile smirking at me, “Boba” well I think that’s what I heard. Then I was struck dumbfounded. What did he call me? The two girls gave me a y looking look, cocking one eyebrow up, making me feel like I’m so … Inferior.
“What did he call me?” I asked a confused Dongwoonie.
“I’m not quite sure, but that was weird,” he said, stating the obvious.
“That babo, he’s a weird one,” I said as we continued our daily walk.
