"Even with everything we have, we still fall." 

Today was the day where everything ended. Where his heart was no longer filled with happiness. 

"You are working today?" Donghae asked, as hyukjae placed his breakfast down on the table. Hyukjae took a seat down before he nodded. Hyukjae noticed how restless the other was in his chair but didn't comment on it. Yesterday, while donghae was sleeping, he had received a text message from her. Hesitating for about 20 minutes, he decided to read it and realized that donghae had actually invited her to their house. His eyes immediately welled up in tears. How dare he bring her to their house, the only place that holds their memories and no one else's but now he is trying to involve her in? He decided to end the misery he is living in. He was done being in the dark corner. He wants justice for once. Everyone has their limit, and hyukjae has reached his long ago but decided that today is the day where he needs to confront his love. Though the tugging on his heart didn't go unnoticed. 

" Are the people there nice to you?" Donghae asked, taking another bite from his bacon. Hyukjae has learned that donghae tends to beat around the bush a lot before making his point, like what he is doing now. 

"They are very patient with me which i am thankful for. " Hyukjae answered, a little coldly to be honest.

"What time do you end today?" There it was. He prayed for donghae to never as this question but he did. Was this the end for them?

"They are going to close late today as they are streaming a soccer match live. Maybe around 1?" A lie. They were closing at 6 today but hyukjae wanted to know if it was really true. He wished it wasn't but he knows it the truth. 

"This is sudden but have you done it with donghae?" Hyukjae was flustered at the frank question and he could feel his face heating up as they both stared at hyukjae, anticipating an answer. Hyukjae nodded meekly.

" I knew it!"

"Was he big?"

"enough!" Sungmin screeched a little and side hugged hyukjae. Kyuhyun scoffed.

" Tell us about how you met donghae. I have seen pictures of him through siwon and boy does he look hot but he doesn't look friendly." Sungmin asked, seating down as there were no customers.

" Well we met at a cafe, he was asking me where the restroom was when it was right behind him." Hyukjae chuckled as the memories came into his mind. Hyukjae must be lying if he said that donghae's looks didn't swoon him but his character was what melted him the most.

" Say if donghae wasn't that good looking, will you still date him?" Sungmin asked. They cafe was empty because it was closing time soon. Kyuhyun was leaning against the wall with his arms folded, waiting for an answer from hyukjae. Hyukjae smiled, rubbing his nape.

"Well, he is very handsome but i fell for his personality." 

"eh hey, you are so in love." Sungmin sang as he placed an arm around hyukjae's shoulder. Now, he wasn't so sure. He knows that he still loves donghae but what about donghae himself? 

"Well i have a great personality too." Kyuhyun said, leaning in to hyukjae but was soon pushed by sungmin. Kyuhyun laughed and hyukjae joined in too. He was happy to have found them as he had just realized, they were the only get away he has from the reality in his own house. 

it was around 7 when Sungmin bid his farewell as he was taking his own car home. Hyukjae decided to wait for kyuhyun as the watched the brunette lock the cafe up. 

" let me drop you off." Kyuhyun offered.

" No it alright, i don't want to bother you."

" I insist." Hyukjae couldn't say no anymore.

They were in kyuhyun's car and he couldn't help but notice how well off this man was. His car was an Audi R8, with tinted windows and when the latter turned the steering wheel, he took a peek at his watch to realize that the man was wearing an Emporio Armani watch. Not something that a normal barista would wear.

" So where do you stay again?" Hyukjae quickly said his address. All of a sudden, his heart felt heavy as he started to break in cold sweat. He was going back to his home. His house where he had told donghae that he will end off at 1. Here he was, the clock showing 7:24pm, seating in the car moments away from the truth. He couldn't help but pray that whatever has happened that past few weeks were all just him over reacting. He wished to see donghae with his comfortable home clothes just seating there at the living room, beaming his boyish grin as he enters. He hope that tonight, his relationship will not end. The relationship that he is deep into.

"We are here." Kyuhyun announced. Hyukjae managed to mutter a thank you as he wobbled out of the car. Kyuhyun noticed how the latter looked so pale all of a sudden but didn't want to ask anything. He had just told him to give him a text as soon as he was home and was pleased when hyukjae nodded.
