October 2013 [bonus]

Perfectly Imperfect - indefinite hiatus

There were couples literally everywhere he looked. There was a guy and a girl giggling together as they studied in the library. That popular guy and that nerdy girl were holding hands in the hallway. Even his own best friends, Taemin and Minho, couldn’t keep themselves from face every time they were within a one-mile radius of each other.

It made Sehun sick.

It wasn’t that he was an unromantic person. On the contrary, Sehun was a lot more romantically-inclined than he’d have most people believe. He liked giving flowers. He liked going on dates. He liked kissing, and he sure as hell liked being intimate.

In fact, it was because he liked it all so much that he hated all these other couples that he was forced to see on a daily basis. His own boyfriend was miles away in Seoul, attending university there. And while Seoul was a whole hell of a lot better than China, it was still far enough away that he didn’t get to see Luhan all that often, and, while he was grateful that he at least got to see his boyfriend sometimes, the video chat dates weren’t all they were cracked up to be.

“What’s got you in a bad mood?” Taemin asked. It was during dance rehearsal. The two were in different grades and they didn’t have class together, so lunch and dance club practice were the only times they really got to spend much time together. Whatever free time they had, Taemin usually spent it canoodling with his boyfriend, Minho.

Sehun stomped rather harder than the choreography required. “I’m not in a bad mood,” he lied.

“Don’t be insensitive, Tae,” Minho, who had just arrived to meet his boyfriend after soccer practice, said. “Sehun misses Luhan.”

Sehun stuck out his lower lip petulantly. He hated that he was so easy to read.

Minho laughed and clapped him on the back. The weather was cooler now with winter right around the corner, but he was still drenched in sweat from his soccer practice. “You’ll graduate in no time, Sehunnie,” he promised. “Then you’ll be able to attend the same school as Luhan again.”

“But that’s in four months,” Sehun whined. “That’s, like, forever.”

“It’s too close for me,” Taemin grumbled, linking his arm through Minho’s. “When you graduate, so does Minho. With my brother gone, my boyfriend gone, and my best friend gone, how on earth am I going to survive my final year here? I’ll be all on my own. You two should both fail a grade so we can graduate at the same time.”

“Maybe you should study harder and graduate a year earlier,” Minho teased, leaning in for a kiss.

Even though he knew his friends were trying to cheer him up, Sehun just felt more down in the dumps watching how happy they were together. That had been him and Luhan just eight months ago. It seemed like an eternity now.

“I’m heading back to the dorms,” Sehun muttered, pulling his sweatshirt on over his damp t-shirt and grabbing his bag.

Minho and Taemin looked alarmed at his sudden announcement. “We were gonna run to the cafeteria and grab something to eat,” Minho offered. “If you want to come with.”

Sehun was hungry, but he was in a funk and the last thing he needed or wanted was to spend the next hour watching Minho and Taemin try not to let their affection be too obvious – which of course only made it even more obvious. “I’m tired and I’ve got a lot of homework to do,” Sehun answered, neither of which was a lie. “Plus I need a shower. I’ll just grab some dinner in my dorm room.”

His friends didn’t look entirely convinced, and it made Sehun even more annoyed that they were worried about him.

“See you tomorrow then?” Taemin asked.

“Of course,” Sehun replied shortly. “We have dance practice, don’t we? I’ll be leaving first then.”

Though it was only halfway through October, the weather was chilly. The last warmth of summer was fading fast, and Sehun shivered as he made the familiar trek from the dance studio to the boys’ dormitory. Despite himself, he pulled his cell phone out of his bag and checked for any messages. There was one from Jongin calling him a loser in the friendliest of ways and there was one from his mother checking to make sure he’d received the money she’d sent him a few days before, but there was nothing from Luhan.

Sehun sighed. Luhan had been so busy with classes and maintaining his scholarship that he often couldn’t text Sehun until really late, long after Sehun had fallen asleep despite his best efforts to stay awake. It was a ty way to continue a relationship, Sehun knew, but he dreaded the alternative. He didn’t think he could survive if Luhan wasn’t his anymore.

His roommate, Youngjae, was perched at his desk with his reading glasses on, typing up an essay on his laptop. He was always studying. He barely glanced up to mutter hello to Sehun before returning to his word document. Sehun grunted something about taking a shower in response and disappeared into the attached bathroom.

He tried to let the unhappy thoughts wash away with the sweat and grime accumulated in the dance studio, but it was impossible. He missed Luhan. He missed everything about his boyfriend, from the way Luhan’s eyes crinkled into nothingness when he smiled to the way he would moan Sehun’s name as his fingernails left scratches down the younger’s biceps.

When he got out of the shower, dressed in baggy clothes for sleeping in, he checked his cell phone out of habit. Much to his surprise, he had a new message, and it wasn’t from Taemin or Minho or Jongin or his mother. It was from Luhan.

He nearly dropped his phone in his haste to open the message. It was short and to the point. Are you free so I can call you? It was all Sehun could do to type out an affirmative response.

His phone rang in a matter of seconds, Luhan’s name flashing across the screen. Sehun beamed and answered the call. “Ge!” he nearly chirped.

Luhan chuckled and Sehun felt his knees go weak. Even though he had always been the more dominant one in their relationship, he had always known that Luhan had the real power. “Sounds like you missed me,” Luhan teased.

Sehun couldn’t help but pout. “Can you blame me?” he demanded sullenly. “You’re always so busy that you never have time to talk.”

“I’m sorry,” Luhan apologized

He sounded like he genuinely felt bad about it, which hadn’t been Sehun’s intention at all, so the younger quickly added, “It’s okay. I understand. I know that you’ve got to maintain your scholarship. I would die if you had to go back to China.” He knew that Youngjae was sitting over at his desk, but he had put his headphones in at the first ring of Sehun’s phone. Sehun wasn’t sure if it was to give him privacy or so that he wouldn’t bother Youngjae, but he was grateful for it nonetheless.

Luhan hummed. “Yeah. But I miss you too.”

Sehun felt the warmth start in his toes and work its way up until his ears were blushing. Luhan was the only one who could ever do that to him. He supposed that’s what gave Luhan his power.

“What are you wearing?” Luhan asked next, his voice dropping into a husky, wicked tone.

Sehun snorted then had to glance quickly at Youngjae to make sure he was still fully focused on his school assignment. “Are you really trying to do what I think you’re trying to do?”

“Why not?” Luhan demanded, and it sounded like he was the one pouting now – Sehun could imagine it all too well. “It’s been so long since I’ve gotten to touch you. I wish I was there right now.”

“Well you’re not,” Sehun pointed out. “But someone is.”

“Ah,” Luhan replied knowingly. “Your roommate is there. That’s okay. Unless you’ve got me on speakerphone, he won’t know what’s going on.”

Sehun was both alarmed and at the same time. The thought of listening to Luhan whispering naughty things to him over the phone while Youngjae sat, oblivious, just across the room was a tantalizing one.

“Since you can’t tell me what you’d like to do to me, how about I tell you what I want you to do to me?” Luhan purred seductively.

Sehun swallowed thickly and sent another uncertain glance in Youngjae’s direction. “O-okay,” he found himself agreeing.

Luhan hummed thoughtfully. “First, I would want you to pick out something special for me to wear. Remember that time we got caught by your mom? Do you remember the miniskirt I was wearing? The stockings? I would want you to pick out something like that. Those little lacy were so wet, remember?”

Already his boxers were growing uncomfortably tight. It was a good thing Sehun’s sweatpants were so loose and baggy. They could probably hide even the biggest of boners. “I-I remember,” Sehun stammered out.

Luhan hummed out a little moan; Sehun couldn’t help but imagine exactly what his boyfriend was doing to himself. He didn’t think he’d ever wished the two lived closer together more than he did at that moment.

“You’re cruel,” Sehun grumbled, shifting his weight to try and alleviate some of the ache between his legs. Another quick glance in Youngjae’s direction assured him that his roommate wasn’t paying him any attention.

But Luhan only laughed in response. “Go in the bathroom if you need to touch yourself so badly,” he teased.

“Yeah, because that’s not obvious at all,” Sehun grumbled sarcastically. But he glanced at his roommate again; he wondered if Youngjae would even notice if he got up and went into the bathroom on the phone and stayed for a long time. He was a smart kid, but a little oblivious sometimes.

“Then tough it out,” Luhan continued to tease. “I’m already , you know. I’m touching myself, pretending it’s your hand. I’m so hot, Sehun. God, I can practically imagine you between my legs right now…”

Sehun groaned out loud, allowing his eyes to fall shut. This was too much for him to handle. It had been too long since he’d last gotten to be with his boyfriend and this was just too much for him.

He got up and slipped into the bathroom, his heart skipping a couple beats when Youngjae looked up at him with a half-annoyed half-knowing sort of smile. But it was too late to back out now; Luhan already had him so worked up. He would just have to do damage control later.

He the shower to cover up any unwitting noises he might make in the near future. “I hate you, you know,” he grumbled into the phone, holding it between his shoulder and cheek so he could slip his hand past the elastic waistband of his sweatpants.

Luhan’s delightful little laugh echoed in his ear. “No, you don’t,” he accused. “You love me.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Sehun let his eyes flutter shut as his fingers curled around his throbbing . If he tried hard enough, he could pretend it was Luhan’s soft, delicate fingers touching him instead of himself.

The elder’s voice was breathy and husky in his ear. “Are you touching yourself yet?” he asked eagerly, and from the catch in his voice it sounded like he was close to coming undone already.

“How could I not?” Sehun moaned, biting his lip hard enough to draw blood. “God, I wish I was there with you right now. I can’t even begin to sort out all the things I’d do to you.”

“I can imagine,” Luhan said, chuckling.

Sehun was about to answer when there was a knock on the bathroom door. He froze with his hand down his pants. “Hold on,” he muttered into the phone, already on the verge of a panic attack. “What is it?” he shouted through the door to Youngjae. “I’m about to get in the shower.”

“Get out here,” Youngjae snapped, and he didn’t sound exactly thrilled.

“,” Sehun muttered into the phone. “Hang on just a sec, ge. I’ve got to deal with my roommate. He’s pissed about something-”

He stopped when he pulled open the door.

The first thing he saw was Youngjae, arms crossed over his sweater, looking distinctly exasperated. The second thing he saw was Luhan standing just behind Youngjae, still holding the phone to his ear, waggling his fingers and wearing a -eating grin.

Youngjae sighed, but at least he didn’t sound angry. “I’ll finish my homework in the library. I’ll be back by midnight.” Grabbing his things, he left the room.

Sehun was at a loss for words, letting the phone drop from his ear. “Lulu!” he exclaimed, voice hardly more than a croak. “What are you doing here? Don’t you have class tomorrow?”

“The world won’t end if I miss one day of classes,” Luhan said, dropping his overnight bag by the door. “I missed you too much. I was going to die if I had to go one more day without seeing you.”

“You’re so disgusting,” Sehun accused, enveloping his boyfriend in strong arms.

Luhan laughed into his shoulder, his own arms coming to encircle Sehun’s waist. “You like it,” he replied.

“No,” Sehun corrected. “I love it.”

“Now who’s the cheesy one?” Luhan demanded with a laugh. “Let’s say we continue where we left off on the phone.”

Welp. It's been ages since I last updated. So sorry! Things have been so busy lately! On top of that, I got into something of a wrter's block funk so I didn't even want to write OTL

But that seems to have passed now, so enjoy this disgustingly sweet update!

Thank you for all your suggestions regarding the colors for the wedding! I still haven't decided which ones I want to use (or if I still want to use all three) but I've still got some time to decide >.<
