Vacation was coming near, and everything just seemed uninteresting. After that horrible day, I've never exchanged words with both YoonA and her cousin. The wounds they've given, was still raw, that it still things just by thought of it. Though YoonA tried calling me a lot of times, I never answered any of it, I just turn my phone off. At school, all I do is avoid her, ignore her when she's around, and walk out when she's about to get near. Talking was already pointless in my part, what can senseless words can do to us now? The lies she have done, can't be reversed. The relationship we have before turned into ashes, leaving us strangers to each other. 

Seung Hyun believed otherwise though, " Seriously dude, how cold could you be? At least answer her calls," he said once, when he saw YoonA looking at us, but I didn't acknowledged her. I shrugged it off, not caring about what he thinks. 

Slowly I was changing, I got colder and insensitive. I even literally shut down from my social life. I guess love can also make you cruel. 

How I act towards Hara wasn't any different though. She may not have cheated on me, like YoonA, but what she did was just heartless. How she valued her feelings more compared to our friendship, was something that was definitely pitiless. As friends, I never even expected that she could do this. Even though she still comes during lunch, and I give her one word answers, the feelings I have towards her did a 180. So for lunch, I avoid her and go to my new find solace.. the library. 

Hidden in between the shelves. Deep in the library, there I found comfort. There I pour all the hurt and pain I have inside. There I try to mull over the frustrations I try to keep from all. It was a safe haven for me, not until Seung Hyun discovered me. 

"So this is where you're hiding now."

I looked up surprised to see Seung Hyun standing next to me. I let out a groan, so much for my secret place. 

He smirked at my annoyance and took a seat across me. "So what's in here anyways?" 

"No Hara." I said bluntly. 

"Harsh! But she have been so depressed lately, at least talk to her." He said, slightly irated on how I just talked about her. 

"Do you like her?" I said out of nowhere. Asking him this was 90% wanting to change the topic, and 10% was because it was based on observation. Seeing him being affected on how I treat Hara still bugged me. I mean, I understood that he was also friends with her, and clearly emphatized with her, but how he acts was just too much for a friend. He kept bugging me often, no ALWAYS, to at least talk to her. When boys makes a move at Hara he becomes overly protective. There were also a lot of things, that seemed so unusual when it comes to Seung Hyun. 

He shook his head fervently, and laughed. "BWO?! Me? HER? Seriously??? Are you mad?!!" He chuckled. 

"It's obvious." I said frankly. 

"Prove it." 

"When you're lying you speak louder, laugh louder and again it's obvious anyways." I said uninterested, why was he even lying about something so transparent? 

"That obvious?" He asked, turning serious all of a sudden.

I nodded. "Does she know?" 

"Ne, I confessed once I sorted out my feelings for her. But she immediately rejected me. I asked her why, but she left me hanging, now the mystery has been solved." He chuckled. 

I apologized, I knew it was partly my fault that he got rejected. Seeing how much he was als affected by this whole situation got me feeling guilty. 

"It's not your fault anyways, and I admire her how she didn't use me to at least forget about you." 

"At least you're lucky enough to get the good side of her so-called friendship. She had the moral to not toy your feelings, but she didn't have that when she already knew about her friend is being cheated on. Cheers to you." I said mad. Slightly, I was getting the feeling that he was praising Hara, the girl was evil in many ways, but he still see good in her? I sighed. 

"Hara can be-" 

"Don't bother." I said, wanting to cut this conversation. I didn't want to talk about it, and everything he was telling me now just brings more annoyance and angry feelings towards Hara. I close my eyes and leaned against the shelf. I wanted to let the angry feelings out. I wanted to forget about everything that involved her. I just wanted my mind to be at ease from all of this drama. And I was thankful that Seung Hyun gave me that privilege. Yes, now having my mind at peace is nothing but a benefit that was rare. But knowing that Seung Hyun can't withstand the long silence, I wasn't all surprised when he spoke. 

"I saw YoonA earlier, she was poking behind the shelf, looking at you." 

I didn't stir. Obviously the mudane fact gave me the same feeling when I heard her name, but now it was muddled with anger and sadness. I didn't acknowledge him, I continued to close my eyes and setting my mind to meditate.. which was beginning to fail because of what he told me. 

"At least talk to her, you're awfully cold, which is just so unlike you dude." 

I didn't answer. 

"And talk to Hara also." 

"Right now I'm still in the processing of forgeting. I'm trying to take out all the hurt and anger I have for the both of them, can't I just do that in peace? If they wanted to make up, and apologize, then they should wait for it. If not, then I won't force them." 

He sighed. "Okay. And for the time being, I'll find ways not to give up on Hara." 

I looked at him, revolting. "Good luck on that."

"Good luck too."

"Cheers for our unluckly love life." I said sarcastically.
