This is a double update! So read chapter 12 first if you haven't :3 I already have 3 more chapters written so I'm going to post them tmr :3 hope you enjoy it :3 oh and I added a pic for the 2nd chap :3

Hangeng's POV: 

We walked on with heavy hearts. Sure, we didn't know each other very well, but there was just some form of connection we had. It was painful and hard to let them go, even if that meant that we had survived the previous round. I don't know why, but I had an ominous feeling about the next stage...

Heechul's POV: 

The ground seemed dark, almost foreboding the dangers to come. The previous paths were obviously not all bright and sunny, but this was a different kind of dark. 

"Hannie?" I said.

"Yes?" He replied, forcing a smile. I frowned.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing... Why?"

"I don't know, you seem sad." 

"Really? Well I guess all of us do, right now." He replied with a sigh.

"I'm scared, hannie. I don't want that to happen to me. It seems to get worse and worse. I see a dark path, black. Don't you?"

"Not really, maybe only you can see it. But it's ok Chul, I am too. But stay strong, don't give up."

"Thanks Hannie, really thank you so much."

"No problem, Chul. I'm always here for you." He said, smiling gently. I took his hand and we walked on. Soon we reached a large black door. It was decorated with blood red rose carvings, and it looked elegant, yet at the same time deadly. 

"Ready?" Leeteuk asked as he reached out for the handle. It glowed a bright red.

"I-I guess so?" Henry said. Leeteuk pulled a door open, and a flash of blinding light lit up the surroundings. 

"Argh!" We shouted as our eyes shut. We blocked the light out with our arms, but it was apparently unnecessary, seeing as the light dimmed as fast as it shined. 

We sighed in relief, before we noticed what stood in its place...

A loud roar was heard and echos reverberated throughout the dark room. In front of us stood a crimson red beast, about thrice our size. It's eyes were blood red, claws long and dark as the night, sharp as blades.

"Watch out!" Hangeng shouted as he dragged me out of the way, helping me avoid the monster's claws. I stared up at him in shock.

"Are you okay?" He asked hurriedly. I nodded and he stood up, ready to fight. I followed soon after. 

"HENRY!" We heard Leeteuk shout from a distance. We jerked our heads up. A few feet away lay a bleeding Henry. He cringed in pain.

"Go leeteuk! Go!" He croaked out, shielding Leeteuk with his body. We watched in horror as the giant claws dug into his back, earning a scream of pain. His body fell limp, but he was still breathing, though very shallowly.

"No Henry why?!" Leeteuk cried, standing up. A scream ringed through my head. I froze -- it was leeteuk's voice. But... He was just standing there... Why... Why would he scream? I watched as he blinded the monster with light. It roared in pain, then in one swipe knocked out leeteuk. I heard it. That exact same scream. I watched in fear as the monster turned towards us. I wanted to run, to flee, but I couldn't. I couldn't make myself move. I braced myself for the impact... That never came. I opened my eyes, and saw the monster being engulfed in flames. I blinked. 

Then I saw him. Hangeng lay on the floor, weak. It was him. So his gift was flame. I rushed over and helped him up. 

"Thank you hannie." I said, tears b in my eyes.

"Haha Chul. I told you that I would always be here for you, right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Let's go." I said gently as we walked off. 

"Only one should have been eliminated, but I guess not. Only one round remains now, heechul and hangeng. And only one will survive." We heard kibum's voice. We looked at each other.

"Goodbye, leeteuk." I said.

"Goodbye, Henry." He whispered and we left.
