Gyuri entered her apartment with pit a pat in heart and short breathed.

What the hell he tried to pull on?                                  

Gyuri screamed inside her mind. Gyuri felt angry to Myungsoo who she thought always play a joke on her since high school but at the same time, she could not help to wonder why her heart beating so fast every time Myungsoo play on that.

Especially today.

“Indeed he is really good playing with my heart. I hate you Kim Myungsoo. Really.”

Gyuri reminded about the past memories, where she was a senior in high school and Myungsoo was her junior. They met each other when Gyuri worked part time as tutor for Myungsoo. Gyuri admitted it; she ever had a slight crush on Myungsoo at high school.

But it was all only on high school, it was all forgotten once Seongyeol came in picture. They met Seongyeol on university time. Seongyeol is same age with Myungsoo; they were classmate in a same subject. It was Myungsoo who introduced Seongyeol to her.

“What should I do for now on?” Gyuri didn’t think she could get Myungsoo out of her mind tonight.

Gyuri was laying in her bed when her phone rang. It was Myungsoo.

What he want now? Gyuri creased her eyebrows.

“What you want now?” Gyuri answered it.

“Are you not sleeping yet?” It was his first word out.

“Thanks to you.” Gyuri didn’t plan to say that. It just blurted out of her lips. God… Why I say that. Myungsoo will tease me for being such a little girl.

“Sorry.” Myungsoo said after a long silent.

“What? For playing around by saying love?” Gyuri spit.

“I’m not playing a joke.” Myungsoo’s voice was still calm.

“So what now, you say you are serious? Don’t be kidding me.” Gyuri couldn’t calm down. She wanted this thing cleared out.

“I am.”

“You can say that and next you’ll tease me again. Just like in high school. Am I really that easy to play?” Gyuri fed up about this game Myungsoo always played on.

“What’s on high school?” Myungsoo sounded confused.

“Don’t pretend you don’t know it.” Gyuri blew an anger breath. “You said you’ll never like me. Never ever. Not even when I am the last girl in the earth. So what now? You just play me again. I won’t believe you.”

 Gyuri was surprise actually how could she remembered exactly what Myungsoo said in high school while even she always forget what happen yesterday. She guessed that memories carved deep into her mind so much.

“Can you open the door first? I’m outside your apartment.” Myungsoo.

Gyuri creased her eyebrow confused, but still she walked to the door.

“Let’s talk.” Myungsoo stared in to Gyuri’s eyes. He hung the phone call and stepped inside the apartment.

“What are we going to talk…?” Gyuri’s word drowned with Myungsoo’s kiss on her again.

 Myungsoo kissed her hard and deep. He was trying to show his feeling. Gyuri struggled hard but Myungsoo pushed her on the wall, not letting her go.

It was a kiss, only a kiss. Eventually Gyuri gave in and kissed back.

They kissed until one of them short of breath.  Myungsoo stared deep into Gyuri and also Gyuri. But then, the stare broke by Gyuri slapped on Myungsoo’s cheek.

“Didn’t I make it clear enough to you? Don’t kiss me, don’t play around. I really hate you for this. What actually you want me to do? Why do you keep taking my heart and put it up and down? Am I a toy for you?” Gyuri grabbed on Myungsoo front shirt and cried. “Why you keep doing something like this?”

“I never joked about everything I said to you. I’m serious when I said I love you even since you tutored me back then. What should I do more to make you believe that? I have tried many things for you to recognize me.”

“You lied.”

“Are you really having that small trust on me? Or did I pull a play so much?”

“But you said…”

“It was one lie. I was shy because my entire friend teased me about you. God, why did you still believe on that one time mistake?” Myungsoo moved around the place frustrated on Gyuri’s bluntness about this situation.
