*cough cough*

I was awaken by the sound of her coughing. I went out of my room and walked towards hers. Thinking that she might be catching a cold I went to get some cough medicine and went back to her room. I went in and place the medicine on her bedside table. She looked at me and I just turned away.

“Did I wake you?”

“I’m here am I?”

“Ah.. I’m getting old..”

“Just eat your medicine”

I walked out of her room and went to the living room. Soon Kris came home.

“Why are you awake? it’s like 3 AM?”

“Her coughing woke me up”

I looked at his facial expression which was a mixture of worried and shock. He ran towards her room. What’s the fuss? She’s just having a cold. Suddenly my phone rang. Who is calling… DAD!

Me ; Hello! Daddy! When can I come home! I miss you!

Dad ; Honey.. I don’t think you can come home.. I sold our home

Me ; But why!

Dad ; I’m opening a new branch in Singapore so I might move there

Me ; But Daddy! I don’t want to stay here!

Dad ; Honey promise me you’ll be nice to Mummy and Gege for me?

Me ; Daddy!

Dad ; I’ve already sent you all your things. It should arrive soon

Me ; You’re torturing me dad!
