A poem I decided to write, just because.

Struggling to keep afloat,
I'm gasping
for air
but there is no one.

Searching
for anything to hold.
Is there anyone
out there who will save me?

I'm getting tired
and there is no hope.
You were the one
to save me.
To keep me from slipping
into the icy depths.

I'm alone
I'm drowning
You have gone
and I am slipping.
