His lips curved up to a smirk as he stared down at the little girl or more known as his daughter.She struggled to get up but her legs gave away.Yoongi realising that the girl was no longer beside him decided to turn back.He was met with a very disturbing sight.He wrapped his arms around her shoulders and helped her up

“Let’s go” he said in a cold tone and walked away

“Who are you to walk away with my daughter there young boy?” her father’s voice rang through their ears

Yoongi took a deep breath,trying to cool his nerves down before he loses it with the much respected man “I believe she doesn’t want to be with you and if you’ll excuse us,we’re going to grab some lunch” Yoongi turned away and glanced at the pale Hyeju.He frowned and pulled her closer to him “let’s go” he slowly walked away from the scene

The older man just scoffed at the scene ‘looks like someone has an eye for my daughter.Well,not for long anymore’ he smirked and turned to his bodyguards “get his information and destroy him first.We need to get out some burden before we get to the main prize”

The other only nodded slightly and opened the door to the car again before the old man’s car sped away.Now,you all may wonder why is her father so possessive over the 19 year old girl? Well,she’s just a 19 year old girl anyways,what is there more to the girl.

Here’s the catch.She inherits everything and I mean everything.Her father is not so rich,in fact the old man played his own dirty tricks to get where he is today.Long story shorten,he tricked his ex-wife’s family and they arranged a marriage between him and their daughter.He got what he wanted,he neglected his wife and daughter and made an affair.Somehow,the affair didn’t end so good.It wouldn’t be fun if we revealed everything here aite?

Anyways,his ex-wife was indeed a very intelligent woman –and that’s what Hyeju inherits from her the best- She knew her husband had his techniques and she decided to inherit all of her wealth to her daughter.Her company,her money,her properties.You name it,it’s all under Hyeju’s name but,she can only have everything under her once she turns 20.For now,the wealth is still under his ex-wife’s name.

He needs to get the girl,threaten her or do whatever dirty tricks he has under his sleeves before proceeding to get his main prize.Hyeju however is not oblivious to all of these at all.That’s the reason why she chose to run away.There were too many question marks in her life.Her mom’s death,what happened in the affair,were there any result from it,how much wealth is there and more and somehow all of these were linked together

“Hello? Earth to Hyeju?” a hand was waving frantically in front of Hyeju.She was snapped from her trance and looked up to the owner of the hand.She was met with a pair of worrying eyes and topped with a creased eyebrows to show his worry “what do you want to eat?” Jin said

“Hmm? I’ll have whatever Yoongi is having” she glanced at the menu in front of her before looking up at the waiter

“You ok noona? You look so out of it since just now.Did anything happen?” Jungkook leaned in close to Hyeju’s pale face to examine her

“Give her space Jeon Jungkook” Yoongi shoved Jungkook’s face away and glared at the younger boy

“I was just asking” Jungkook pouted and Jin patted him on the back comfortingly

“He’s right.Give Hyeju some space.She has some problems going on” Jin smiled to the younger boy and he nodded

Hyeju remained silent the whole lunch.She was still in a daze from her encounter with her dad.’Why am I so affected? I should be brave.What the hell are you doing Ryu Hyeju?’ Hyeju thought and sighed softly.Yoongi noticing the troubled expression on Hyeju and frowned slightly

“You ok? Want to get some fresh air?” Yoongi leaned in to whisper

She only shook her head “Nah,I’m fine.Can we get my uniform after this? We’re starting tomorrow anyways” Hyeju smiled slightly trying to show to the boy that she’s fine

Yoongi smiled and nodded “sure we can.I think Jungkook would be more than delighted to see you in the uniform” Yoongi chuckled and fed her some meat “eat a lot.You’re too skinny” He pinched her cheeks slightly

Hyeju felt weird at his slight touches.She would get those weird feeling in her tummy whenever he smiles or talk to her.Her heart would thump faster than the normal rate when she talks to him ‘what is this feeling?’ After filling in their tummies,they made way to a nearby school uniform shop to buy the uniform

“There’s so much uniforms” Hyeju scanned the uniforms in the store “some of them are even prettier than mine” Hyeju pouted slightly

“Don’t worry heiress,you’ll get to wear those pretty uniforms” Hoseok chuckled slightly and she shot a glare at the guy for calling her the nickname “come on heiress,embrace it.It’s a fact isn’t it”

“You know what,I think I like it better when you were so quiet because it irritates me every time you open your mouth” Hyeju gave him a last glance and walked away

“You’ll learn to embrace it heiress” Hoseok half shouted making everyone’s attention in the store turn to them

After trying on her school uniform,making sure it was the right size,she paid it up with her credit card “wow,nice credit card and a uniform in the middle of the school year? That’s something new” the cashier scoffed slightly

“Excuse me?” Hyeju raised an eyebrow slightly

“I think I know you but I don’t know where” the cashier leaned in to examine her face

Hyeju coughed nervously and took her credit card “no you don’t.Thank you for your service” Hyeju took the paper bag and quickly walked out,dragging Jin out with her as the boys followed suit “pretty boy,lend me your hat” Hyeju took Jimin’s snapback and fixed it on her head instead

“You can keep them forever if you want” Jimin smirked and fixed his own hair

“People recognized you?” Yoongi helped Hyeju to fix the snapback on her properly

“Yeah” she nodded “well not exactly,I was almost caught.Let’s go home now.We have a long day tomorrow”

The boys  dropped her home before the boys parted ways to their own place called home.Hyeju woke up early although she had alot of time before school.’I need to look decent at least’ She prepared breakfast,a Korean breakfast to be exact,for Mino and attached a note to it ‘I’ll be going early today.Cooked breakfast for you.Hope you like it,with the help of internet J ‘

She slipped on her jacket over her uniform and slung her school bag over her shoulder.Although she was wearing a few layers,the weather was still a little too cold for her.She slipped on her sneakers and stared at it for a moment.It was pretty indeed-and expensive- but it didn’t matter to her.It was actually the first and last present she received from her father.It was when he was appointed as a temporary CEO for the company after her mom died.

“I’ll be going” Hyeju half shouted to no one in particular and walked out,making sure to lock the door behind.She studied the little note she made in her phone.It was the instructions to the school.Jimin gave the instructions on which bus to take,which route to take,which station to stop and which way to walk “what a sweetheart” Hyeju smiled and kept her phone in her bag after she thought she has looked at it enough

You know when you’re riding a bus and there’s this particular person catches your eye for no reason? Well,Hyeju was the person that caught everyone’s eyes for that day and probably forever.She was dressed in luxury from top to bottom –except for her uniform- it wasn’t extravagant but just at a single look,it shouted luxury,her shoes,her manners.It was so..trained.

The way she stood was so proper.The way she held her head high.Soft murmurs were heard but Hyeju decided to ignore it.She looked outside and realised it was her stop.She thanked the bus driver and alighted the bus.The roads were busy with cars and the sidewalk was filled with students wearing the same uniform as her heading towards the same direction.

She decided to follow them and she ended in front of the assigned school.Hyeryung High School.The name was indeed weird.She never heard of such a name.She took a deep breath and took bold steps pass the gates,into the school.The students started to whisper at the appearance of the new student but not to Hyeju’s knowledge,apparently she was not the only new student for the day

“CUPCAKE!” the familiar nickname and familiar voice rang in her ears.She looked around,trying to search for the source of the voice “CUPCAKE! UP FRONT!” she squinted her eyes slightly and looked up front.She noticed the familiar boy.Park Hyungseok

Murmurs were now becoming louder with the fact that the new students knew each other and even had affectionate nicknames.Hyungseok jogged up to Hyeju and pulled her in for a hug “I thought I was going to die waiting for you.The girls here were eye- me”

Hyeju pulled away slightly from the hug to have a look at the boy in front of her “what are you doing here?”

“To study of course” he smiled and ruffled her hair.She finally had a good look at Hyungseok.His hair was spiked up,his blazer was replaced with a Chrome Hearts with it leather sleeves and fabric on the other parts,an expensive watch and accessories and finished off with a pair of shoes that Hyeju swore that she has never seen before

“No,I mean,for what are you doing here?” she raised an eyebrow at him

“ok ok,you caught me.I asked Mino and bla bla bla and I couldn’t leave you here alone with whoever these people are” Hyungseok took a good look around before turning back his attention to Hyeju “so here I am to be your knight in shining armour although I know you have 7 other knights but who cares” Hyungseok grinned and wrapped his arms around her shoulder

“I need to go to the office” Hyeju sighed softly and walked closer to Hyungseok as she felt warmth from his body

“Sure.I need to go to the office too.Let’s go” both of them walked together and it may sound exaggerated but they ruled the hallways for the day

“They know each other?”

“The new kids are taken?”

“They look rich”

Those were the words that kept spreading throughout the whole school for the whole day.
