“Well guys,you’ve suffered enough in school and it’s time to have fun in your real world” the teacher patted Jin,Yoongi and Namjoon’s shoulder

The trio bowed and gave one last hug to their teacher before walking out of the office

“I have to grab something,go home first” Yoongi patted Jin’s shoulder and made a run the other way.The boys simply shrugged and let the boy run away

“So,any plans? Thought of grabbing some ice cream” Hyungseok propped his elbows on the table as he continued to stare at Hyeju packing her stuffs

“I don’t think so.I heard there’s a new ice cream shop a few blocks down the-“

*knock knock*

“Hey..” Yoongi smiled shyly and a light tint of red crept onto Hyeju’s face

“Hey” Hyeju smiled

“What are you doing here” Hyungseok had an annoyed expression on his face

“I thought of inviting Hyeju for some coffee”

“She doesn’t drink coffee” Hyungseok interrupted

“Ice-cream?”

“She’s going with me”

“Park Hyungseok” Hyeju hissed at her best friend “We’ll grab some ice cream tomorrow ok? I’ll text you” Hyeju gave Hyungseok a brief hug and walked up to Yoongi “Want to go and grab the ice cream now?”

“Sure” Yoongi smiled and nodded.He wanted to hold her hands,intertwine his fingers with hers but he was scared that he might startle the young heiress

“YA RYU HYEJU! YOU BETTER GO OUT WITH ME TOMORROW!” Hyungseok shouted and stomped away

Hyeju laughed and shook her head at Hyungseok’s childishness “Is he always like that?” Yoongi asked

“Yeah.He’s secretly a female inside.He has more raging hormones than me” Hyeju giggled “Anyways,what’s with the sudden ice-cream date?”

Yoongi blushed at the word ‘date’ “Just wanted to celebrate my graduation and better to celebrate it with you”

Hyeju nodded and they continued to talk about random things as they walked to the ice-cream store “students from our school are practically flooding this place” Hyeju chuckled as she took a good look around the place

“We’re bringing luck to the shop.Pick a flavour,my treat”

“but-“

“Just pick” Yoongi insisted.Hyeju gave up and settled herself with a cookie dough flavour while Yoongi refused to get anything

“You were the one insisting on getting ice cream and you’re not getting one?” Hyeju pouted

“I’m full by watching you” Yoongi blurted out and ruffled her hair

The blush on Hyeju’s cheeks grew more obvious.They took the ice cream and took a seat at the corner of the ice cream shop.Far from people,just both of them enjoying each other’s company

A comfortable silence enveloped both of them and it seemed neither one of them wanted to speak first.Yoongi’s gaze fell on Hyeju’s hand which was placed on the table as she used the other hand to eat her ice cream.He slowly grabbed her hand and held her hand tightly but not too tight to give her discomfort

Hyeju gave him a faint nod as a smile crept up the corner of her lips.He drew invisible circles on her hand with his thumb and that action sent comfort and goosebumps up her spine.She loved the way her hands fit perfectly in his

“I’ll be a man and just confess.Hyeju,I’ve liked you since a while but I was such a coward of actually confessing to you and here I am,finally picking up the courage that I left somewhere when I first met you.Will you be my girlfriend?”

Hyeju was silent.Of course she wanted to be his girlfriend.She wouldn’t reject him for the world but words from her dad lingered in her mind.Being with Yoongi meant danger and she didn’t want to put him in such a difficult position

“Yoongi,it’s really hard being with me.Being with me means that I’ll have to drag you in my own mess and you’ll get hurt and the last thing I want to see is seeing my loved one being in danger.You don’t know how capable people in my world” Hyeju sighed and an apologetic look plastered on her face

Yoongi leaned in closer and tilted her chin slightly “I don’t care.I’ll do whatever to be with you.I’m a man Hyeju,I can defend myself”

“No,you don’t understand.They’re not using violence,people in my world use power,mental,money! It’s too complicated” tears threatened to fall from the brink of her eyes

Yoongi frowned and caressed her cheek with his other hand “Please,we can get through this together.I want to be there for you and I want you to be there for me.Please,don’t deny your feelings Hyeju”

Hyeju smiled softly and nodded.Yoongi slowly leaned in and planted a soft kiss on her lips.He taste the cookie dough flavour on her lips.It was a mix of strawberry lip gloss and cookie dough ice cream.

“I love you” Yoongi whispered as he rested his forehead against hers

“I love you too” Hyeju smiled and gave him another brief kiss on the lips

“I can’t believe Korea’s richest daughter is mine” Yoongi smiled and kissed her knuckles

“So,this was the thing you forgot at class?” a familiar voice asked and they both tilted their head to the source of the voice.There stood Namjoon and Jin.Jin had a stiffed expression on his face while Namjoon had an amused face

“What are you guys doing here?”

“Heard a new ice cream shop opened up a few blocks from school.It’s a very hot topic,might as well check it out” Namjoon grinned

“Well,excuse us while we go and enjoy the rest of our date”

Yoongi grabbed Hyeju’s hand and dragged her out.It was a miracle that Hyeju managed to grab her backpack on the way out.

Meanwhile,a pair of eyes watched the couple from afar as they walked out.He called up a number in his cellphone “looks like they’re official now”

“Good.That’s better.She will give in immediately.Follow the boy.Know his daily activities and report back” the other dialler chuckled darkly before hanging up
