The boys and Hyeju crowded over the little coffee table as the house had no decent dining table.Hyeju made a mental note to buy a dining table.The boys walked around the neighbourhood for food and only to end up with Chinese takeout –such a waste of time since they could’ve just called from home-  Everyone was so engulfed in their food that they didn’t notice the 2 mortal enemies were sitting beside each other

“why do I feel so weird somehow?” Jimin suddenly asked and finally looked up from his food

“what?” Taehyung asked as he raised an eyebrow.Everyone looked around and somehow spotted nothing wrong

“are you guys stupid? Yoongi and Hyeju are sitting next to each other” Jin stated simply and Hyeju choked on her drink

“did you guys get together or something?” Jimin raised an eyebrow

“manners Jimin” Yoongi glared at the boy

“is she a noona?” Taehyung raised an eyebrow “when’s your birthday?”

“25^th December 1995” Hyeju simply stated while Jimin and Taehyung snorted

“we’re the same age but Taehyung is 5 days younger than you” Jimin smiled “nice to meet you chingu-yah”

Hyeju chuckled softly and nodded “why are you pouting Jungkook?” Hyeju asked

“I’m the only one younger”

Hyeju let out a laugh and ruffled his hair “feel special,you’re the only one can call me noona” Hyeju smiled and the others bursted in laughter.Suddenly Hyeju’s ringtone went off and the smile on her lips turned into a frown and the room instantly felt heavy.

Her hands were trembling reaching for the phone,hesitating wether to pick it up or not.She knew it was a bad idea when she decided to turn on her phone a few days ago.She should’ve bought a new phone.The boys stared at Hyeju as she had fear all over her phone “hello?” she answered her phone

“darling~ where are you?” the dark voice rang through the other line

“I-I don’t know” Hyeju simply said

“honey,I’ll give you one last chance to come home.I didn’t track your or anything as I trust you but oh honey,how furious I was when I saw your room empty.It’s my last warning honey.I’m not going to track you” with that her so called father hung up the phone and Hyeju with her trembling hands quickly removed the battery from her phone and  let her phone sink in her glass of water

“what are you doing?” Yoongi asked as he stared at the broken phone

Hyeju shook her head as she stood up to look out at the window.Fortunately there were no cars or suspiciously looking men.She sighed softly as she slumped herself on the couch

“aren’t you going to get that noona?”

“wow,I know you’re rich but simply crushing a phone just because you’re disappointed is kind of spoiled don’t you think so?” Hoseok raised an eyebrow

“wow thanks long-face,I thought you couldn’t talk at all” Hyeju snapped at the boy who finally said something to her except for the day they met

“wow sass” Jimin chuckled and high fived with Taehyung

“look,all of that is just not merely crushing  a phone.I’m being tracked by that thing and I have to get rid of every possible device I have and I was only left with that.My life is not as easy as it seems,correction,our species” Hyeju glanced at Yoongi “life doesn’t seem as easy as it seem.Everyone is just ready to stab everyone in their heart.Yes,I said heart,not back”

The room was silent as no one dared to say anything.Hyeju took the phone house and called her uncle “I’ll change schools for now”

“what?! What are you saying?” Her uncle half shouted

“dad is going to send people there in approximately 1 hour.It’s not safe there anymore” Hyeju sighed softly and ruffled her hair

“Hyeju-ah..” he called her name softly.She hated that tone.It meant that he’s going to persuade and she’ll always listen to him but this time,Hyeju was more than determined to not waver “please go home,you don’t have to do all of this if you go home.You can go to school normally,finish your studies,live happily again”

“I’m sory,I got to go”

“running away from your problems is not going to solve it”

“I know but I got to know something before I do confront him”

“what?”

“how mom died” and with that Hyeju hung up the phone and tears brimmed her eyes as the thoughts of her mom filled her head but she pushed those thoughts away from her head and turned to the boys “what should we do now?” Hyeju smiled slightly

“ummm...we can watch TV?” Jimin pointed to TV

“I don’t know if that works though” Hyeju pouted slightly and made way to the TV in attempt of turning it on and much to her surprise,it did turn on “and I didn’t know this thing works” the other guys chuckled as most of them sat on the floor with Jin,Hyeju and Yoongi on the couch.Hyeju glanced at the clock and realised it was little past midnight “how long is he going to be there?”

“till 3 in the morning I guess” Yoongi shrugged and stole a glance at the clock

“that’s pretty late.Do you guys really stay that long at the place?”

Jin nodded and wrapped his arms around her shoulder,pulling her close to him “you can sleep” Jin rested her head on his chest.Hyeju was caught off guard,how can this guy that she met a few days could be so affectionate to her but somehow Jin gives the same vibe that she feels with Mino,the big brother vibe

“Jin hyung seems affectionate with Hyeju” Jimin whispered to Taehyung while he took a glance at the sleeping Hyeju

“yeah but look at Yoongi hyung.He’s boring holes to Jin Hyung” It was Jimin’s turn to take a glance at Yoongi and Taehyung was right.Yoongi looked like he was going to strangle Jin

“I knew he had something for her” Jimin smiled and the boys giggled like high school girls

Mino was surprised to come back home and see Hyeju all snuggled up in Jin’s arms.He trusted the boy to not touch her and he cuddled her while she was asleep? Mino sighed and thought that it was not the right time to get angry.He switched off the television and covered the boys and Hyeju with blanket while he made way to his own bedroom to let sleep take over him

The next morning,Hyeju woke up to the smell of toast lingering in the apartment.She felt a pair of strong arms around her waist and looked up to only face Jin’s sleeping face.She slowly removed his hand and made way to the kitchen.Mino was busy juggling between the toaster,applying the jam on the toast and the breads that were stacked on the plate that looked like it were gonna fall any moment.Hyeju chuckled a little at Mino

“need some help there?” she appeared beside him and took the toast from him,applying the jam on it instead

“thanks” Mino smiled slightly and breathed out a sigh of relief “did you sleep well?” Mino glanced at Hyeju and she gave a small nod “you’re not really a girl with words are you?”

Hyeju chuckled and shook her head “that makes us similar in one way or another then.Oh anyways,you might can’t use your house phone anymore.I kind of cut the line”

Mino nodded slightly “to avoid from them tracking you? Did you use it?”

Hyeju could only nod to the question and a few minutes later,the boys started to wake up and all of them crowded in the kitchen to have a look at what was the source of the great smell filling the room.Yoongi was the last one to wake up and sat beside Hyeju at the dining table

“did you have a good sleep?” Hyeju asked as she turned to the half asleep boy.He only nodded in response with his half closed eyes “want some?” Hyeju offered the toast she was eating and he nodded.She held her toast closed to his lips and he took a grab from it

“what’s with this sudden affection?” Mino raised an eyebrow at Hyeju and Yoongi

“nothing” Hyeju smiled and returned to look at the person in front of her which happens to be Jin

“I don’t want any of you getting so close to Hyeju.It’ll only conclude to trouble” Mino sighed as he looked away and gave a menacing stare to every of them

Hyeju pouted slightly “why not? They’ll probably my only friends”

Mino sighed and looked back up at her “like I said,it’ll only conclude to trouble.Anyways,I think I’m going to enroll you at Jimin,Taehyung and Jungkook’s school.It’s safer there since its an unknown school and it’ll probably the last place for them to search.Edcuation is still important to you”

Hyeju could only nod as Mino gave her the lecture.She still wondered exactly why is Mino doing all of these for her? He was practically a stranger to her.A person she met at the Underground and decided to live with him.Nothing more but there she was sitting there,listening to his lectures like how she would listen to her mother

“noona is going to school with us? Really?” Jungkook’s face lit up at the mention of Hyeju going to the same school with him and Mino just nodded at him

“woah wait.Don’t you think everything is going too fast? I have my say in these things too.It’s my life” Hyeju looked up at Mino

“I know but I’m here to help and guide you” Mino stared back into her eyes

“you’re worst than my dad” Hyeju mumbled and turned away “I should leave soon”

Mino sighed and shook his head.After breakfast,all of them were crowding around Hyeju to help her with starting her online shopping mall.The day passed with Hyeju working on her online shopping mall while Mino was busy working on the documents to transfer Hyeju to her new school.

“noona,aren’t you going to get your uniform?” Jungkook suddenly asked and Hyeju finally looked up from her laptop

She stared at the boy and shrugged “I guess so.Do they sell it? Do I need a tailor? I don’t think my tailor can finish a uniform under a day though”

“noona” Jungkook cut Hyeju’s words “they sell it.Our school sells the uniform”

Hyeju chuckled slightly and nodded.Hyeju was so focused on her work that she didn’t realise that it was past noon and her stomach was grumbling for food.She shook Yoongi lightly but her only groaned and continue his sleep.Hyeju sighed and turned to Jin who woke easily with just a little shake on the shoulder

“you’re done?” Jin rubbed his eyes while yawning

“well,sort of.Kind of” Hyeju glanced at her laptop and put it to sleep “want to get some lunch?”

Jin nodded and helped her to wake up the boys who fell asleep while helping out Hyeju.They were so immersed in it but fell asleep later on.Every one grabbed their own jackets and they walked out.While all of them were walking around to search for a restaurant,Hyeju bumped into someone and she looked up.A sharp gasp escaped her lips as she realised who it was.
