The birds were chirping,the wind was blowing perfectly outside but one girl preferred to stay inside and stay with her laptop.He fingers were typing away as she occasionally clicked on the cursor

“Hyeju-ah,lunch is ready”

Hyeju just nodded and continued her work.A sudden message from her phone snapped her from her trance and a smile slowly crept on her lips.She grabbed her money and slipped a cardigan over her thin shirt

“I’m going out” Hyeju shouted and walked out of the door before Minho could say anything.She typed in the address her real estate agent gave into her GPS.It was surprisingly a walking distance just the way she wanted

“You’re here fast” her real estate smiled

“I need to start immediately.Shall we start?” Hyeju asked and he nodded.The place was not big but it was big enough to put her stocks.Everything about the place fit Hyeju’s criteria “I’ll take it”

“Excuse me?” her real estate agent blinked in disbelief

“I said I’ll take it.I’ll sign it now”

“Don’t you want to look at other places?”

Hyeju shook her head and insisted on signing the place.She grew fond of the place the more she looked at it.She signed the contract on the spot and lingered at the place for a while.Smiling to herself “Let’s work well” Hyeju said to no one in particular

She finally stood up and walked out of the store after a good half an hour of doing nothing but admiring the place.She locked the store with the keys she received from her real estate agent and walked back home.She noticed an unfamiliar pair of shoes at the shoerack

“Who’s here?” She asked but the moment she stepped in,she was attacked with a bear hug

“Where were you? I was so worried.Why didn’t you answer my call or texts?”

“Yoongi?” You asked and tried to have a look at the person

“No Sherlock” Hyeju laughed at his remark and hugged him back “Where were you anyways?”

“Checked out some place” Hyeju took off her cardigan and walked to the kitchen “What are we having for dinner?”

“Sorry,no dinner today.I have to go out” Hyeju noticed Minho’s attire.He had a black dress shirt on,sleeves folded up to his elbow,black skinny jeans,his hair was pushed up as usual,a black leather belt to secure his slack pants and a few accessories “Go and grab some dinner with Yoongi”

“Where are you going?”

“Appointment.Take good care of yourself” Minho ruffled her hair and grabbed his car keys on his way out

“You’re going on a date?”

Minho chuckled and shook his head “Far from it.See you later kiddo.Don’t wait for me.It’ll take long” Minho gave Hyeju a brief hug and kissed her forehead,later making his way out

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at the affectionate gesture.How can Hyeju and Minho be so affectionate? “Don’t you have some explaining to do?” Yoongi asked

“What?”

“What’s with the kiss and hug?”

Hyeju laughed and shook her head “I forgot,you don’t know yet.He’s my long lost brother,half brother to be exact”

Yoongi literally choked on his saliva at the mention of half brother “how?”

“Can we not talk about it?” Hyeju frowned a little and held his hand “Where are we eating?”

Yoongi decided to drop the subject and thought of a place to eat “Want to have some meat?” Hyeju’s frown instantly turned into a smile

“Let’s go! Oh,do you want to invite the others? Since meat is pretty wasteful to eat with only 2 people”

Yoongi sighed and nodded.He didn’t want to watch Jin and Hyeju being all affectionate with each other again.He decided that he needed to step up his game.Of course Hyeju and Yoongi arrived first and later on the boys came in groups of 2

“Where did all of you come from?” Hyeju asked the last pair to come in,Namjoon and Jin, as Jin casually sat beside Hyeju

“We were just shopping around.Did you check out the place already?”

“It was great.I signed it already” Hyeju smiled and took a bite of her meat

“Wait,Jin hyung knows about whatever place you were going just now?” Yoongi raised an eyebrow,he sighed softly and shook his head,trying to drop the subject,in an instant regretting he asked it out loud

“Hey..” Hyeju tugged on Yoongi’s hand but he won’t look at her “Yoongi-ah” she cupped his face,making him face her

“What happened to oppa” Yoongi mumbled

Hyeju chuckled slightly and pecked his lips “The reason I’m not telling you is because,I want to show you the final product to you proudly”

“Can’t I be with you along the road and be proud with you in the end?”

“You really want it? I thought it might bore you”

“If it involves you,nothing bores me” Yoongi grinned

“EWWW” Namjoon exclaimed loudly and Jimin choked on his drink.People around the restaurant were raising their eyebrows at the group of kids.Hyeju and Jin apologised to the people around by bowing their heads slightly

“You” Hyeju hissed and glared at Jimin “Why did I agree to eat with these idiots?”

“Yeah,I wonder” Yoongi sighed

“Hey! What idiots? For all I know,there’s only good looking guys here” Jimin said proudly and grinned

Hyeju rolled her eyes and enjoyed the rest of dinner.Meanwhile,Minho who was dressed in perfect attire,who was going on to a supposed date claimed by Hyeju,was yet again waiting for the person.He sighed heavily and glanced at his wristwatch ‘and again’ he thought.

“I’m so sorry I’m late” speaking of the devil

Minho plastered a smile and shook his head,motioning that it’s nothing.They got on with dinner with small conversations or may I say,the other person was mainly talking.It was barely a conversation with Minho just saying yes or no to his questions

“Anyways,have you found Hyeju?” the older man wiped the corner of his mouth as he took a sip of his wine

“No dad” Minho made an apologetic smile to his father

“Just where the hell is she? What are these people even doing? They can’t even track a 19 year old girl in a small city”

“Can I ask you something?” Minho cautiously started his question and the older man gave him a slight nod “Why do you want to find Hyeju so much?”

The older man sighed and yet again,took another sip of his wine “Listen here closely,I need her money,not her.Why would I need her? I only need you.She inherits all of my late wife’s wealth,personally and business.I need that money,let the girl be left alone,settle some things and I leave with you” the older man smiled at his intelligent plan “Sounds great right?”

“Yeah..It does” Minho smiled slightly and made a mental note to hide Hyeju better.All this man needs is a second to take Hyeju away “Can’t wait for it”

“Me too”

*buzz buzz*

The older man’s phone rang and a caller with the ID titled ‘S’ was displayed on the phone.The older man quickly answered it,afraid of Minho seeing but it was too late.Minho scrunched his eyebrow at the weird caller ID

“I got to go now.See you next week” the older man excused himself the moment he hang up his phone call.Minho raised an eyebrow at the weird caller ID.Who would even save someone with just an alphabet.Minho excused himself,to no one in particular and walked home.

On the way home he passed by a meat restaurant and he saw Hyeju with the boys through the glass window.Just in time his tummy growled ‘might as well crash with them’ he thought and entered the shop .The small piece of steak that costed more than 50 dollars did nothing to his growling tummy.

“Can I join?”

“Hey! How was your date?”

Minho laughed and shook his head “It wasn’t a date but it went fine I guess.Nothing interesting” Minho naturally took a seat at the end of the table “thanks for the meal Hyeju” Minho took a bite of the cooked meat on the grill,that was originally for Jungkook

“Eat up a lot” Hyeju smiled and gave more of her cooked meat to Minho.The other boys raised their eyebrows at the affectionate treatment Hyeju showed to Minho

“Hyung,are you ok?” Jimin whispered to Yoongi

“Of course I am” Yoongi nodded as he munched on his meat

“But that” Jimin pointed towards Hyeju and Minho

“Park Jimin,don’t you know that pointing and staring is rude?” Hyeju glared at Jimin and he pouted

“Too much to tell kiddo” Yoongi laughed and ruffled Jimin’s hair

Jimin huffed and ate the rest of his dinner quietly
