His process into consciousness was inconceivably slow. It were was though his mind had become detached from his body and were drifting leisurely beneath the dark waters of the ocean. It felt so surreal yet somehow serene and euphoric, much like how one would imagine one of those out-of-body experiences to feel. Maybe that's what he was having, an out-of-body experience.

So wait...wouldn't that mean he was dead or near death? A heavy sense of apprehension filled him at the thought. He couldn't be dead...could he?

Something at his chin. It was cold and wet; however, quite refreshing against his flesh. And though the movement was gradual, he could feel something coarse and gritty slide from underneath his jaw.

No, he wasn't dead. To that he was thankful.

Now that he was becoming aware, he could also feel the slick surface he was lying on exert itself against his chest, causing his ribs to push into his lungs making it difficult for him to breath. He tried to lift himself to give his lungs room to expand only to realize he couldn't move. It was like, every muscle in his body had become completely relaxed and drained of all strength.

He was beginning to panic now. He wasn't dead, but he can't move either.

What the hell was going on?

I just want to say that I would NEVER (EVER) want anything like this to happen to anyone. I wish everyone around the world (especially frequent flyers) safe flights.

I was inspired by none other than Jurassic Park (the first one-1993) due to watching it for a week.

This will possibly be mainly Taoris with Tao being the focal character, but I might switch that to focus on the other couples. Also, there probably won't be any character deaths. Probably.

As I say on all my stories, if this story happens to sound similar to anything written or read before, it's purely coincidental, I can assure you of that.
