MY STORY...
"I want to become a k-pop Superstar" because I don't want to be disowned.
The story is i just graduated from highschool and to escape from the clutches of my control-freak parents I lied to them that K-pop was my lifelong dream.
but it seems like i bit off more than i can chew. Being suddenly into this crazy industry, and not having a single clue about it, I'm in big trouble.
Living in a dorm with 4 guys will make me insane. I was suddenly included in this so-called "unity group" that has members from different groups and companies with me the only one without experience.
guess i just need to be better at keeping secrets then
Jae Dae
Ms. Too-cool-to-care ends up being thrown into a whole new world she never could've imagined. She values respect fro women, so what happens when she's suddenly treated as a guy? She does whatever she can to release herself from controlling parents. But she finds out that it's harder than what she could've ever imagined
Kyuhyun
Arrogant yet childish. He is the one that Jae Dae hates the most. Though he acts all tough and mean, he still cares for everyone in his group. He just teases people in hopes on getting closer to them (especially Jae Dae a.k.a Jae Ki)
Key
At first he was the only one that Jae Dae trusted in the group. He's kind and a bit shy at times (especially to the one he likes). He starts to question his uality when he figures out that he has feelings for Jae Dae, because she was pretending to be a guy.
Dongho
Outside he is a cute and angelic maknae of Ukiss with a cheerful personality. But this angel has horns, inside he's actually a narcissist that loves being called cute and is very manipulative. He's very manly yet playful when he isn't acting like his angelic self. He is the first one to find out about Jae Dae's secret.
Yesung
The oldest yet weirdest of the group. He's very dedicated to his music and is constantly scribbling on his palm writing music. He is quickly moved by Jae Dae's voice making him awkward and even more weird around her.
Mr. Kim
The group's manager. Even though he disappears from time to time and always runs off to do something right in the middle of conversations and recordings, he is very supportive of the group and does his best to ensure their success.
Foreword
I look outside outside the plane's window and I see Seoul for the first time. After how many years of pleading, my parent's finally allowed me to go to the city that's gonna make my life-long dream come true. Yes, you got it, be a k-pop star. I know it's a really common dream and it's probably so freakiing hard to accomplish, especially because i'm clueless at the moment and has NO idea whatsoever how to start. Why did I go to Seoul without a back-up plan you ask? well, i just told you it's my life-long dream, duh. And a small part of the reason was that so that i won't be disowned by my parents.
Okay, let me elaborate on that..
The story is, I just graduated from high-school and I'm still about to just turn seventeen cus i skipped a year (I was so smart in kindergarten =P). The day after graduation, my parents talked to me and gave me only two options, go into business management so that I could take over our small-scale business at home, or study medicine. Heck no I'm not gonna stay in the countryside. I have nothing against our province but I want my life to be, how do I put it, "not boring". I have no plans to become a doctor either, 10 more years of studying? I don't think i can pull that off. I'm not that pretty that I'd still have husband options when I reach 30. And when I disected a frog i accidentaly made it explode. Dont ask. Making me a doctor would just be a crime against humanity.
After minutes of fighting back and repeating th words "I don wanna". My parents finally gave up and asked me what I wanted to do. And when i thought about it. I had no idea. Then suddenly looked on the floor of our living room and saw a half-eaten lollipop. Ew that was disgusting. "lollippop" I mumbled to myself. Apparently it was audible enough to make them hear "pop",
"You want to be a pop? what's that?"
I used my quick thinking skills and exclaimed "K-pop!, i want to become a K-pop superstar!"
OK, maybe saying that k-pop is my life-long dream is an overrstatement, since the dream was partially inspired by a lollipop lying on the floor and was just fully realised a few days ago. Well for me its better thanthe given options.
And what do you know? they said ok. They said that they would wouold let me have a "go" at my "dream". They said that the reason was to help me "Get rid of it" when I failed. Wow, myparents are so inspiring. =P They agreed to let me go to Seoul and give me enough allowance to live by myself, but in exchange, if I still haven't fulfilled it before I turn 18 (which they were sure that I would) I would return and follow them fully or i would be disowned. Sounded like a good deal to me so the heck with it, I'll give my "dream" a shot.
so that's my story.
Apparently, the flashback made me want to pee. So i unbuckled my seatbelt and went to the comfort room. When I opened the door. I saw a fat man on the floor. Oh my gosh, is he dead? i wanted to scream for help but if i did, it would seem that I was the first one to see the body, so I would be a primary suspect. But If didn't maybe he WILL die if he still isn't dead. So, conscience or convenience? I weighed them out and took a good look at the poor fat dude. hm. i choose convenience. I went for the door to leave when I felt a hand grab my ankle "Eeep!" i screamed. zombie? i turned around and saw the man coughing, he appeared to be choking. I pulled him up to make him sit and gave him the heimlich maneuver. After a while a huge chunk of bread came out.Oh, dude that's disgusting. He apparently chocked because he was eating a sandwich. And by the looks of the said "chunk", he wasn't chewing.
When we got out, he said "Thank you! you saved my life!, how can i ever repay you?"
"if you are a manager of a certain k-pop group or influential in the industry and woul make me a star, I would be pretty grateful " I said sarcastically. His eyes widened. "I am! Not yet though, I'm still recruiting members for the group that i will manage."
My heart skipped a beat and I think i just screamed a little inside
it MUST really be a crime to make me a doctor because the greater good is on my side.
