At the sight of his savior, the boy wagged his tail, splashing more water on the ground. Chanyeol couldn't help but laugh and tell him to calm down. Obediently, the boy's tail stopped wagging so vigorously, but it still swung side to side. Picking him out of the bath, Chanyeol dried him with a towel and helped him into his clothes, which were just a tad bit too large for him. Once fully dressed, the boy smiled widely and threw his arms around Chanyeol's neck, to his surprise.

After the brief moment of shock, Chanyeol hugged him back, taking in his clean scent. Letting go, which earned a whimper, he picked up the collar and read the name tag.

Baekhyun. Chanyeol read out loud. The boy nodded and tried to form words.

B-B-Baek... Baek... Baekhoon. Chanyeol smiled at the boy's attempts and helped by pronouncing it with him.

Baek,

Baek, the boy repeated.

Hyun.

Hyoon.

Hy-uhn.

Hyun... Baekhyun! Baekhyun! Baekhyun! Baekhyun! The boy repeated his name over and over again, jumping up and down and clapping, tail wagging furiously, wet ears flinging water on the walls. Smiling from ear to ear, Chanyeol picked up Baekhyun, who hugged his neck and wrapped his short legs around him, and brought him into the kitchen with the food right where he could reach.

Does Baekhyun know how to use chopsticks? Baekhyun shook his head and looked down, thinking that he disappointed his savior.

Chanyeol will teach you!

Y-ee-ohl.

Yeeeeohl.

Yeol.

Yeol. Ch-Chanyeol. Chanyeol... Chanyeol! Chanyeol! Chanyeol! Baekhyun almost fell off his chair from happiness if it weren't for Chanyeol next to him.
