Baekhyun woke up in Chanyeol's lap, except this time, he was in a different place. It was very unfamiliar, though the only thing he recognized was his bed. As he sat up, something unsuspected came out of nowhere, it seemed, and smacked him in the head, sending him crashing to the ground.

Chanyeol felt the younger stir and heard the thunk of his head and the crash of him falling to the floor. In panic, Chanyeol rolled the computer chair out and and kneeled next  to Baekhyun who had crocodile tears falling from his eyes.

Baekhyun? Baekhyun! Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! Chanyeol picked up the smaller and cradled him, repeating "sorry" over and over again. After Baekhyun calmed down, he wiped the tears away from his beautiful brown eyes and smiled at Chanyeol.

Ch-Chanyeol don't sorry. You... You fault no. Baekhyun said in broken words. At first, it too, Chanyeol to process what he meant, but once he understood, he hugged Baekhyun tighter. Kissing Baekhyun's forehead, Chanyeol got up and sat back into the chair, sticking Baekhyun between his legs so he was able to see the computer screen.

There wasn't anything even remotely eye catching. Since Baekhyun naw unable to read, he just furrowed his eye brows in frustration.

I'm looking for a job. Chanyeol sighed. The day I found you, I was fired from my job. Haha. I guess I was just a bad worker.

Chanyeol, no bad. Chanyeol mine. Baekhyun laughed. In his seat, Chanyeol froze. No one had ever said he was "theirs." Yeah, he had dated a few times, but it hadn't been serious. Now, Baekhyun, who he picked up yesterday, was already claiming him, leaving an odd sensation floating around in his stomach.

Baekhyun sensed the tensed air and turned to face him, doing an aegyeo face.

Aw, Baekhyun is the cutest! Chanyeol laughed and ruffled Baekhyun's hair.

After hours of finding a job, which took a while mostly because of Baekhyun distracting him, Chanyeol had sent an electronic application to the small bookstore where he found Baekhyun. In the meantime, Chanyeol had made lunch of turkey sandwiches with a lot of lettuce and poured milk for both, claiming it would help Baekhyun grow more.

By the next day, Chanyeol had received an email from the bookstore saying he was accepted and he could start the next day. His shift would be from 9 am-3 pm. It had been very convenient for him, giving him time to make breakfast for himself and Baekhyun in the morning and he would be able to get home early to make sure Baekhyun was fine. Though he didn't really want to leave the little one alone, his boss probably wouldn't be too happy about him being there all the time, distracting him.
