Chapter 15

Roses (A Lee Sung Min Love Story)

I packed away all the clothes from my bags and put everything else away neatly.

Collapsing onto my bed, I shut my eyes.

I was so warn out, it was a good job we wern't going to school.

I yawned again and then driffted off.

When I awoke it was the afternoon.

I sprung to my feet and glanced at my watch.

It was almost 6pm! I was shocked that I'd slept for so long!

I fixed my hair and clothes before venturing out the room.

I looked around.

Every door looked the same except for on that had a poster on it.

I guessed that was Sung Min's room.

Walking over to it gingerly, I pushed the door open.

I glanced in but he wasn't in his bed.

I frowned. Had he already woken?

Then, I turned around and started to walk, or rather creep down the hallway towards the stairs.

I don't know why I was trying to be so quite.

It just didn't feel right to make too much noise, or any noise for that matter.

I reached the banister and held onto it as I tried to tip-toe down the stairs.

"What are you doing?"

I jumped at the sudden voice.

Looking down to the bottom of the stairs, there was Sung Min, watching me.

"I-I thought you were asleep, didn't want to wake you..."

He laughed.

"Not even I could sleep that long. You must have been over tired."

I walked down the rst of the stairs normally and met him at the bottom.

"It's not good for your body being over tired."

I nodded. "I know that."

He sniggered and then walked through another door way.

"Come with me!" He called, not even looking back.

I did as he said and tottered after him.

He walked through into a kitchen that was clearly 3 or 4 times the size of mine.

I was amazed! He picked up a cup from the side and handed it to me.

It was a hot cup of coffee.

"I was just on my way to wake you up anyway, so I made this ready."

I smiled. "That's sweet. Thank you."

He laughed. "Don't get me wrong!" He said.

"I just want you wide awake so you can make me a nice dinner! You slept through lunch! Luckily there was some ready-made sushi in the fridge."

"Ah~" I said, taking a sip of the coffee.

"Well, then I'll make dinner extra special today to make up for sleep too long!"

Sung Min smiled. "Wow. You really do learn fast."

"Dinner will be ready for 8, is that okay?"

Sung Min nodded, impressed with my already-planned out meal and timing.

"Do you like Korean roasted pork?" I asked, placing my cup down.

"Do I!?" Sung Min exclaimed happily. "It's my favourite!"

I smiled. "Well it must be! I haven't seen you this happy ever!"

His expression dropped. "Well, it better be good pork!" He said before walking away.

I shook my head and laughed.

Although, I'd only been here not even a day it was startiing to feel less awkward and uncomfortable by the hour.

That was good at least.
