Chapter 13

Roses (A Lee Sung Min Love Story)

We were already 20 minutes into the journey.

And as expected, complete silence.

I didn't want to say anything.

But even if I did want to, I had no idea what to say!

I took in a deep breath and exhaled heavily.

"Bored?" Sung Min asked.

I turned to look at him, shocked he'd even speak so nicely.

His town wasn't cold, it even sounded a little friendly.

I laughed, a little shy, "Kinda~" I relplied.

He smirked to one side of his mouth, still not taking his eyes of the road.

"Why don't you turn on the radio then? Play some music."

I nodded and did as he said.

"In the glove compartment." He dircted pointing to it slightly before putting his hand back on the steering wheel.

I opened it carefuly, not wanting anything to fall out.

It was packed with CDs.

All the latest releases, too!

Well, what else could I expect? He was from a very wealthy family.

He was probably spoilt.

"Pick one!" Sung Min instructed, wondering why I was taking so long.

"Oh, ah~" I said scanning through them quickly.

"How about this?" I said pulling out TaeYang's new album.

He glanced at it fo a second then nodded.

"Yeah, why not."

I opened the case and slipped the CD into the music player.

After putting the case away neatly, I sat back.

"Feeling a little more relaxed now, are we?" He chuckled.

"Urm, yeah." I replied unsure.

Then there was silence again.

The music was the only thing to be heard.

"Sung Min-shi" I called suddenly.

"Yeah?" he replied instantly.

I laughed.

"What now?" He asked sounding a little annoyed.

"I thought you were the one who started conversations? and You let me talk to you informaly!"

Sung Min narrowed his eyes.

"I'm driving! I don't have time to pay attention to what you say!"

"But you still answered..."

"Mistake!"

I looked down at my hands resting on my knees.

Although I'd just been shouted at I still had a smile on my face.

I glanced up quickly to look at Sung Min.

He smiled and then shook his head.

Maybe he wasn't so bad after all...

When we got to my house, he stopped the car in the drive.

"You might as well come in for a little while. It's going to take more then 10 minutes to pack."

Sung Min rolled his eyes. "Fine!"

He turned off the engine and got out the car.

Locking it, he followed me into the house.

I took him into the lounge and told him to make himself comfortable.

I left him to watch TV and ran upstairs to pack as fast as I could.

I packed all my skirts and shorts and and trousers that I could find.

I figured that if I was cleaning, they'd get dirty a lot.

I got changed out of my school uniform and into some more casual clothes.

I decided Jeans would be best as it looked as if it was going to rain.

I searched aroung my closet but couldn't find them.

Then, I remembered! They were on the washing line.

But how was I going to get them?

I bit my lip, trying to think.

Aha!

"Sung Min! Sung Min!" I called down the stairs, hiding behind my door.

No answer.

"Sung Min, it's important!"

I heard some shuffling and then he appeared, looking up at me.

"Could you get my jeans of the washing line?"

He frowned. "You do it!"

I shrugged, half expecting that answer.

"Well, okay, but I'm not dressed..."

His expression was indifferent.

"Do you want me to walk around in my underwear!?" I boomed out, angrily.

"As a matter of fact, yes."

I opened my mouth wide, disgusted with him.

"You know! Just wait untill I get down there! I'll teach you not to-"

"Okay, okay. I was joking!" He said shaking his hands.

"I'll get you bloody jeans for you!"

I smiled, triumphant.

"Thank you."
