Sehun - The Troubles of Being the Maknae
EXO: Mostly Domestic Drabbles"Sehun-ah!" Kyungsoo whined as he picked up the napkin again, "you're making a mess!" Jongdae snicked from the other side of the table as Kyungsoo wiped Sehun's mouth for the third time that night. Sehun let out a huff, half slamming his chopsticks down.
"Yah! Hyung! I'm capable of using a goddamn napkin myself!" he said sharply, earning him a quick slap upside his head from Jongin next to him.
"Stop speaking so infomally and be nice," Jongin tried to say seriously, but a smirk was playing with the corner of his mouth. Sehun turned to glare at his best friend, knowing perfectly well that he was bringing that up to annoy him. Looking around at the unmasked humor on the rest of the member's faces, Sehun begudgingly gave in, letting his head sink forward slightly.
"I'm sorry, Kyungsoo-hyung," he spoke quietly with forced formality. Jongdae snickered again before being silenced by an obvious pinch to the thigh by Junmyeon. Sehun endured through the rest of dinner wondering why they were suddenly being so hard on him about formality; they never cared much before.
When they were done, he quietly offered to do the dishes, resisting the urge to roll his eyes when Baekhyun cooed about how maknae-like he was being. Ignoring the following laughter, he grabbed as many dishes as he semi-safely could and escaped to the kitchen.
He was half-way done with washing when Kyungsoo joined him, ruffling the younger's hair before grabbing the drying towel.
"I've been sent with a peace offering," Kyungsoo said, laughing lightly, "we're sorry about dinner. You know we were just teasing you, right? Well, Junmyeonnie-hyung suggested we do yaja time later to make up for it." The older resisted laughing more at the sight of Sehun's mouth twitching towards a smile.
"I guess that'll make up for it," Sehun replied, failing at his attempt to feign indifference.
