Then we arrived at the river.”Gamsahamnida.” I bowed.

Ne, gwenchana. Mianhae ne?” I nodded. “Ah, is your knee still hurt?” he pointed at my knee.

“Ania~ gwenchana, it’s okay I’m strong.” I laugh.

"Tsk! Jinjja? Ahahaa arrasseo, mianhae. Take care don’t cry again.” He waves at me and leave me.

 

I turn around and I see someone under the tree, it should be him.”Ray!!!” I run toward. “Gwenchana…eyo?” I hold my breath cause too worried.

“Annyeong Raemi, why so late?” he smile at me. “Eh? What happened with your knee? He kneel down and look into it.

“Hyunil-ah…” I start crying.

“ne?” he look up, my tears fall on his face. “waeyo?” he stand up and wipe my tears. “Wae?” I can’t speak again, he hug me tightly.”… gwenchana Raemi-ah, I’m here… don’t cry.”

 

*My angst :

I’m scared… I’m scared if I couldn’t see you again… I’m scared I lost you, I’ll never let you wait for me again, Hyunil… never… mianhae…

 

A few minutes later, I feel calm and better. “Waeyo?” He fix my hair. “Am I do something wrong?” I shook my head. “then, what happened?...” I throw a rock to the river. “Arrasseo~ you won’t to tell me, it’s okay…” he look down.

“…. Hyunil-ah… don’t make me scared…” I look away and pull the neck of my jacket.

“mwo? Yaa! Yaaa!! Waeyo?” he’s curious. “tell me, jebal~”

I take a breath deeply.”Come here.” He come closer, I peck his cheek.

“MWOYA!!!!” He puffed and grab his chest. “Yaa!!! You make me get heartache Raemi-ah, aaaiisshh!!!” he touch his cheek.

“I’ll kiss you again, come here!” I open my arm and my lips.

“Andwae! Andwae!!! Aaarrgghh!!! My heart!!!” he acted like he get heartache and faint.

“Mwoya~ Ray-ah~ yaaa!! Wake up.” I poke his cheek. “Wake up!~ wake up!~ you said wanna show me something.” I pout and ignore him.

He giggles and open his eyes. “ne… lay down please.”

“Mwo? What will you do?” I cross my arms on my chest. “Yaaa! Since when you’re being such a ert. I won’t lay down.” I turn around. “Andwae… Andwae… andwae!!!”

“Yaaa~ just shut up and lay down~” he giggles and pull my shoulder, he lay down my head on his thigh. “Sssstt…” he cover my mouth and point at the tree.

I goggled into the tree, it’s awe me. so many fire flies around the tree. “joah…” Hyunil smile and slowly his hand rub my hair. “Gomawo Hyunil-ah.” He smile at me, our face get closer. I can feel his breath, my heart beat faster.

“Mianhae…” he take a leaf from my hair. “nah it’s okay now.” He smile innocently.

“Ahjinjja!!!!” I pout.

After took the picture of fire flies, we decided comeback to home. “Let’s back to home. I stand up.

“waeyo?”

“The wind feel colder now, I’m worried about your heart.” I fix his collar. “Did you bring your medicine?” he nodded. “Aaah… did your parent …”

“Ania, I came here by myself.” He point at his bicycle .

“Let me used it, I won’t you get tired.” I grab his bag and try to find his medicine. “Eat your medicine first, ne?” He nodded.

After he eat it, I used his bicycle .”Raemi-ah, let me used my bicycle, I’m okay.”

“Andwae! Let me protect Hyunil… I won’t to lose him.” I said.

A few months later, me and Hyunil graduated. We promised to join SAT together and have the same university.

My father nad my mother went to overseas for a month, he have meeting with another doctors and my mom companion him. For prepare my SAT, I stay in Hyunil’s. His parents treat me like their own daughter, it’s because me and Hyunil always together since on elementary school and he’s my father’s patient.

I went out to the market because there’s no food in refrigerator. “Jakkanmaneyo~ I still in the market, the snow is so heavy. I can’t go to bus station because a little bit dangerous go out when the heavy snow.” I called Hyunil by phone. “Oh,  is your father comeback early?…. Ah arrasseo~… ne.”

When the snow  began to subside, I go to the bus station. My hair a little bit wet and I’m sneezing.

“Gwenchanaeyo?” Someone touch my shoulder and he smile at me.

“Oh?” I get shocked. “…Annyeong..” I bowed and he bowed back while scratching his head.

“Thanks still remember me.” He said and smile at me.

“Sure! We bumped and you helped me, I can’t forget that.” I fix my hair and smile.”Ah… your… scarf…”

“Ania~ gwenchana, I’ve many scarf ehehe.” For a few minutes we’re being silent. “…ummm.. ah my I know your name?”

“Ah? My name?” he nodded. “ Raemi… Kang Raemi, you?”

He giggles. “Kyeopta~ nan Yoo Barom imnida.” He bowed. “you can called me Rome.”

“Nice to meet you again, Rome-ssi. I’ll bring your scarf if we have a change to meet again.” I smile.

“Ah, don’t mind about it. By the way, you live near here?” I nodded. “Oh…”

“Raemi!!!!”

I turn around. “Hah! Jinjja!!! Why you always forget to bring your umbrella and wearing thick jacket…” Hyunil come toward and give me my jacket and umbrella. “Your ears get red…” He cover my ears with his hands.

“Yaaa!!! I said wait me, don’t go out! I ….” My hand aiming to hit his head.

“Aigoo~ young couple, eo?” Rome giggles at us.

“A-ania~ he’s my best friend, we’re not a couple ahahaaa” I laugh.

“Your cheeks blushing…” Hyunil poke my cheek.

“MWOYAAA!!!!” I punch his shoulder. "This is because the weather very cold!"

“Arrasseo! Palli....” He pulled my hand. “I’m hungry.”

I cook for our lunch, Hyunil sit on his chair.”Nugu?”

“Ne?”

“Who is he?” He asked.

“Eh? Who?” I get confused.

“That’s boy, who is he?” He pout and look away.

“Eh? Waeyo?” I asked but he silent instead.”Don’t say if you… jealous! Ahahhaaa “ I messed his hair.

“Andwaeyo…” he pout again.

“Ahahahaaa arrasseo~ mind to help me, Ray-ssi?” He nodded and take 2 plates. “Gomawo~ actually he was help me in that night, ummm… and we met again for the second time. Don’t be jealous, arratta~”
