Issue Explained: Invisible to You

I got the message from Boss Nichiren (while I was asleep). Here it is:
If your story is set to members-only, you wouldn't be able to view the layout unless you're logged in.
If your story is set to subscribers-only, you wouldn't be able to view the layout unless you're subscribed to it. Authors can't subscribe to their own stories. Thus, the layout is invisible to you ^^ while your subbies could see it.
This is not the case for invite-only fics. I have two invite-only threads and one of them is where I test my layouts. And I can see them fine ^^" (Well of course only Keeper and her invited readers could view them.)
or Trigger Warning rated fics are automatically marked members-only and suscribers-only. And so the layouts and links are stripped off unless you verified your age, logged in, and subscribed ^^
Phew.
This change is brought about by our fellow users who didn't want others to see the layouts and links in their members-only and subscribers-only fics. I had no idea this was an issue so I was pretty much clueless yesterday too since I could view and even apply my own layouts ^^
I am not against the privacy options. (I made three posts in the past explaining why it's okay to use them.) But just know that if you set your stories to subscribers-only, you wouldn't be able to view the layouts purchased from the Layout Marketplace. (Your sub
