Scenario: Going Caroling

Not long afterwards, you're slight fever went down. Runny nose was long gone and you're feeling much better. Still doubting your boyfriend on how he'll live up to his promise. You both are grown adults and there's barely people going caroling at your place.

"Are you ready?"

"For?"

"Caroling. I promise you didn't I?"

"Oh! I thought-"

"You were doubting me?"

"N.. well.. yeah.. a bit"

"Its fine. Don't worry, I got connections"

Your boyfriend drove the both of you to your local Church. There you saw a life size nativity. It was when Jesus was born in the manger. In front of it was a group of people lined up, and was singing Christmas carols. You looked up your boyfriend with a huge grin plastered across your face.

"This is best I can come up with. I called up my Aunt and she said you're more than welcome to join them"

"Really?"

"Yeah~" 

Just then, a short haired middle aged woman called up your boyfriend. Turns out, she's his Aunt. Introductions was made and she quickly pulled you towards the rest of the carolers. She gave you a song sheet and a tambourine as you join them in the singing. Your boyfriend was happily watching you at the side. Singing along with the rest of the chorus while taking pictures and video of you. He's glad to help you achieve something you've always wanted to do.
