"Which one do you think he'll like?" you ask your boyfriend holding up a green beanie on the left and another one on the other hand with the same design except its red.
"Babe, I don't think it matters. He's 8 months old."
"Still, I want your nephew to like me"
"As long as you have food, he'll like you~" he beamed, as you placed the green one in your basket. You and your boyfriend are out Christmas shopping today for your family and friends. His family has been very warm to you and you want to show gratitude towards them.
"Babe, what are you giving your boss?"
"Probably something for his new duplex. A tea set maybe? He loves to drink tea"
"I think I saw one right there. Its not the usual girly and flowery style"
After looking through the tea set, and debating what design looks manlier, you finally decided on something. Spotting something shiny not that far..
"Look, that silverware looks exactly what your mom was looking for" you said dragging him along the kitchenware.
"Wow~ I'm sure she'll love this"
"You know, you don't have to buy her anything."
"But I want to. They're really welcoming. I miss my family whenever I see them"
"Speaking of your family, have you bought anything for them?"
"I'm thinking about buying my parents couple shirts"
"Really? is it even appropriate?"
"Hey! my parents are still pretty young and they love wearing couple things"
"Okay. Okay. How about your sister?"
"Not yet. She actually asked me to buy her a convertible."
"She's 15. She's not even legal to drive yet"
"Yeah~ and I don't even have my own car. But I'll still buy her one"
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah~ those remote control ones"
He let out a chuckle, pulling you close for a hug.
"I love doing this with you"
"What is?"
"Christmas shopping. I really appreciate all your efforts"
"I just want our first Christmas to be memorable"
"I'm sure it will be Babe. I'm sure it will"
