“This might hurt a little,” Kai muttered.  “I’ve never done this before, so…”

Cheon Sa closed her eyes and braced herself for the pain.  Cold fingers cupped her cheeks, and Kai’s forehead pressed against her own.  A slow, burning sensation, which began in her head, travelled throughout her body, making her gasp.  The hands that held her face became hot, and Cheon Sa wondered if her body was on fire.

“Oi, human, are you okay?  If you can’t handle it, I can stop.”

She clenched her teeth together and tried to push the pain out of her mind.  “No.  I’m not turning back now.”

He chuckled.  “Very well.”
