Author's Note: This came from my English composition homework which reads: " 'There is no place like home.' Describe some people, objects and smells that you associate with home. HAHA XD Now you know what I do in class xP

Hakyeon sighed contentedly as his cheek met with the soft fabric of Taekwoon’s knit sweater, the one his mother had hand knitted for Taekwoon. Breathing gently, the unique smell of Taekwoon’s soap and cologne that no one could replicate as well as Taekwoon’s slim fingers carding through his hair made him get progressively sleepier.

“Welcome home, Yeon,” Taekwoon smiled, gently massaging Hakyeon’s scalp with the tips of his fingers.

Hakyeon had been away for months, having been sent to China to further improve his dancing. During which, Hakyeon had felt severe homesickness. He missed having someone to cuddle to sleep with, he missed the smell of Taekwoon’s soap and cologne and most importantly, he missed Taekwoon. When the training had gotten so tough, when he was constantly put down by his peers and when they made him feel inferior to them, all he wanted was to go back home; back in Taekwoon’s arms. Even though he video chatted with Taekwoon almost every day, their meetings were mostly cut short due to the dorm’s strict rules of shutting off the internet at precisely eleven-thirty at night so that their students would get sufficient rest for the next day. There have been days where Hakyeon chose to stay back longer in the studio, wanting to perfect – or at least polish up – his dances so he wouldn’t need to face the humiliation of being scolded in front of the whole class by the teacher. Those days, Hakyeon returned to the dorms around midnight, body sore and desperately fighting sleep. Those days were when Taekwoon would sit in front of his computer, anxiously checking Skype again and again, worrying about what had happened to his beloved.

But everything was fine now. Everything was perfectly fine. Because Hakyeon was in Taekwoon’s arms, slowly falling asleep on his chest. Everything was fine now, because Hakyeon was comforted by the steady beating of his lover’s heart, the faint melody lulling him to sleep.

Everything was fine now, because Hakyeon was home.

He’d always be at home with Taekwoon.
