LUHAN
A Date With Him
"Luhan!"
I pull his hands away from covering my eyes. I turn and see him laughing.
"Annyong." He slides his hands on mine. "Did you wait for long?"
"Nope." I lie.
I have been waiting for almost an hour.
He frowns and takes off his bonnet, "Liar."
Luhan puts the bonnet on my head, "Look at you. You're cheeks are red. You're freezing here."
He also takes off his scarf and place it around my neck.
I don't think the temperature the one in blame with my cheeks turning red.
"At least this would make you warmer."
I frown, "But then, you're the one who'll get cold."
Luhan smiles as he fixes the scarf on me, "I have you to embrace me when I go in shock of hypothermia."
I roll my eyes at him, he notices it and flicks his finger on my forehead.
I wince, "What was that for?"
"You're just so cute." He shrugs and crosses his arms,
"Are you still feeling cold?"
I shake my head. "But I have throbbing pain in my forehead."
Luhan apologizes and rubs the part where he flicked his fingers.
"Luhan." I say, as he continues to rub my forehead, "Why did you want us to meet here?"
He shrugs, "you'll see."
Luhan slips his hand on mine as we walk along the path of Namiseom.
The famous place where a certain drama was filmed and now a place where Luhan and I met awhile ago.
"The place is beautiful," He says.
I look around but I can't see clearly anything.
"Wow. You have 20/20 vision." I joke, "How can you see the beauty of this at night?"
Luhan chuckles and leans close, "Because I'm a wolf."
I laugh. What a way to joke around with your song.
Luhan laughs with me and adds, "It's true. Wolves can see the beauty of this even at night.
I raise my hands in the air and turn around, "There's no light in here except the moon! I can't see where we are heading."
"Me too." He frankly says.
Luhan pulls his phone out and calls someone.
I watch him as he waits for someone to answer his call.
"Who's that?"
But he didn't get to answer me because the one on the other line answers.
"Oh! Annyong, Ahjusshi!...It's me, Luhan...Ne..." He looks at me and grins, "Can you turn on the lights?"
Just then bright lights explode everywhere.
I squeal.
There are light on the tree's trunk connecting to another tree and so on.
There are also lights on the snowy ground.
Isn't that dangerous? But who cares. I'm happy right now.
I stare at Luhan.
He's not talking to the Ahjusshi anymore. He is staring back at me.
"Can you see the beauty of the place now?"
I smile, "It's beautiful."
Luhan approaches me and shows me a small box.
He kneels in front of me and opens the box.
I lean close and find it empty.
I roll my eyes and sigh in disappointment. How rude of him.
"What's this?" I rudely ask
Luhan laughs. "A box."
"I can see that." I take the box from him and shake it. "Is this some kind of a joke?"
"Yes." Luhan gets up and pats the snow off his pants. "Apparently you're wearing my gift already."
I point at the bonnet, "this?"
He shakes his head. "Nope."
I scan myself.
I look at fingers, no ring. I look at my pockets, no letter and at my ears, no earrings.
Luhan chuckles. "You're so clueless..."
I cross my arms, "Well? Tell me."
He takes a step closer and points at my neck.
I look down and start unknotting the scarf and that's where I see it.
A necklace.
Luhan must have put it on me when he was fixing the scarf.
Sly deer.
I hold it's pendant and feel it's smooth surface on my fingers.
It's his symbol but it seems incomplete.
I giggle, "Your symbol?"
He nods and pulls a necklace that I didn't see he was wearing. "Ta da."
"I have one too." He shows me the other half of the symbol. "If you look close your name's engrave on mine."
I look at his and I see my name on it.
I can't help but feel light on my feet. He's so sweet.
"Is your name on mine?" I ask.
He nods. "Do you like it?"
I could see how nervous he looks.
Waiting for my response must be nerve wrecking for him.
I back away and crouch on the snowy ground.
I turn back at him and smile, "I do."
I throw a snowball right at his face.
I laugh as he shoves the snow off himself.
He is laughing but I can see that he wants revenge upon what I did.
"Oh no, you didn't." He glares at me with a serious yet playful intent and starts chasing me.
I run as fast as I can, avoiding him and dodging his arms before he could catch me.
We laugh. I can never imagine a better night than this.
Luhan lunges at me. "I have you now!"
His arms finally caught me and we both fall on the ground.
The snow acted like as a pillow for both of us.
I can't stop laughing.
Luhan's arm is still around me.
"You caught me, now what?"
He smirks and embraces me tightly. My head on his chest, I can feel his warmth already.
"I'll roll you to death."
And he starts to rolls us in the snow.
Childish Luhan.
We stop rolling at our second try.
Luhan lets go of me and lies on his back, "This was supposed to be romantic."
I sit and pat the snow off my clothes, "I like having fun than being romantic with you."
Luhan looks at me and holds my hand. His hand is cold.
I pull him up and take off my scarf and put it on him.
I can feel his eyes on me but I don't mind.
I embrace him and I can feel his shock.
"What's wrong?" He asks me with a confused tone,
"You're getting cold...I don't want you to get sick." I mumble.
Luhan chuckles and wraps his arms around me as well.
"Now this is romantic..."
I laugh.
I think that my love story with Luhan is much better than the love story of the characters in the drama that filmed here in Namiseom.
