“Ah~ what are we going to do?” I let out a frustrated sigh and dropped myself on the bed. I looked over to Jinhwan who had a blank expression on his face while staring at his cast.
“This entire thing is my fault. If I haven’t pushed you to practice singing all the time, you wouldn’t have had strained your throat. And because I pushed myself too much on practice, I fell and sprained my ankle. I’m sorry.” He mumbled. I got up, sat in front of him and gave him an encouraging smile.
“Hey it’s not your fault. You were only doing your job. Without you, I would have never learned the choreography, moreover, dance it. Without your guidance, I would have never reached those high notes. Without your advice, my throat would have never healed. So stop blaming yourself.”
“Thanks Jinhee. I really appreciate that. But what are we going to do with our presentation?” He showed a small grin but a sigh came not long after.
“I don’t know yet. But why don’t we practice the song one more time while thinking so we don’t waste time?” I suggested earning a nod from the boy. The guitar mixed with our voices soon filled the atmosphere.
“Oh wait, why don’t we dance with chairs?” I said in the midst of singing, slightly surprising Jinhwan in the process.
“Hm I like that idea. Yeah that could be it! Great idea Jinhee” He exclaimed as we high fived.
“So first thing’s first, what song are we going to use?” I asked.
“Hm, I suggest a mellow song so that no strong movements are needed.”
