WINNER’s debut track “empty” announced a hugely successful start by topping music charts.

WINNER, YG Entertainment’s first boy group in 9 years since BIGBANG, has been attracting much attention even before their official debut.

As if to respond to the fans’ high expectations, the debut album “2014 S/S” lined up all the 10 songs from #1 to 10 on Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Genie and Olleh Music immediately after its release.

One of the double title tracks “empty” topped a whopping 9 charts.

Related personnel from YG Entertainment commented, “Some returning artists ‘line up’ charts with several songs, but it is unprecedented that a newbie group like WINNER did so with their debut album.”

The five members of the group unleashed their musical talents as singer-songwriters by writing and composing all the 10 songs included in the album.

Internet users who saw the news lefts comments like, “WINNER’s ‘empty,’ break a leg!,” “The lyrics are too good,” and “we have waited for so long.”

WINNER’s first official debut stage will be on August 15 at Jamsil Sports Complex when YG hold their Family Concert, the “AIA REAL LIFE:NOW FESTIVAL 2014.”
