With the upcoming debut of WINNER, Team A conveys their honest thoughts about being compared to Big Bang.

On the afternoon of November 4, the winning team of ‘WHO IS NEXT: WIN’, Team A, met up with Joy News 24 and stated that “Being worthy of being called the second Big Bang has become our primary goal.”

The new YG boy group debuting 8 years after Big Bang, Team A now taking the name WINNER modestly revealed, “Just hearing us being called ‘The second Big Bang’ is a great honour.” 

Team A’s leader Kang Seungyoon says, “Our Big Bang seniors are a cultural icon and hearing us being called the second Big Bang is such a big honour,” he continues with determination, “However I don’t think we should have the exact same colours us our Big Bang seniors. We want to reveal our own unique colours in the world of singers.”

With this, “We’ve made it our primary goal to have as much influence as an icon just like our Big Bang seniors.” He says, “We’re able to comfortably promote because of the great road our seniors such as Big Bang and 2NE1 has paved for us. I hope we become an improved group who keeps our modest hearts.”

On the other hand, Team A has been in a spur of practice for their debut.
