1. Click here to go to KBS’ registration page (Use Internet Explorer. For some reason, KBS is wonky with other browsers) Follow the instructions accordingly. (It’s all in English)

• If it’s not in English, then click here, click on the ‘Register’ link in the top right corner, and choose ‘Foreigner Living Abroad’ (Bottom right blue rectangle)
• Note that in order to confirm your identity, KBS will need around 1 week. After 1 week, check your e-mail for a 2nd confirmation e-mail from KBS which will say ‘Thank you for signing up for KBS online membership’. 

2. Click here to download Kong Player. 

3. Click where it says ‘콩3 New Version Download’

 

 

• Note: Kong Player currently does not support Macs (any version). For Windows, Kong Player accepts all version up to Windows Vista/Windows 7 (Windows 8 is not available for download)

***NOTE: I am basing everything after this on what a kind reader has offered to share her screen with me (since I’m running on Windows 8), so pardon for any mistakes, and sorry for not having screenshots to help make it easier***

4. Open up the setup.exe file, and click on ‘다음 (N)’ for everything. (AKA, keep on clicking the button that’s highlighted in blue)

• Don’t hit ‘취소’ or else you’ll cancel the installation

5. When you have finally finished installation, open Kong and log in with your KBS account.

6. Find the button labelled ‘보라’ and click on it.

• 보라’ = Viewable (essentially video broadcast)

7. Find the button labelled ‘2FM’ and click on it.

8. When the show starts to air, it will automatically show the LIVE videocast. (Please note that if there is no live show or no live videocast, it won’t show you anything, only audio.)

***Please feel free to send me any questions about this tutorial, since I know that it may be very confusing for some people. It would be best if you could send a screenshot in, since I can’t install it on my own laptop.
