Tiffany's deadline for the submission for her draft  is inching colser. Although Jessica is her cousin, she knows that she won't let it her slip if she failed to finish her work just because they're cousins

She felt like the story she has writtern so far is still not enough. She wanted to know the dating cutlure in Korea in order for her to make a better article.

She walked into Jessica's office, sat down in fromt of her and asked her "Jessi, have you dated anyone since you came here in Korea?"

"Of course I've met guys here and there. My dad always set me up for blind dates, but I've never really met someone whom I really like. Does that answer your question?" Jessica replied

"So you mean blind dates are popular here in Korea? And YOU actually went more than once?" Tiffany was surprised

"I only go there because my dad never stops until I say yes." She complained

"Oh, I see.. uhm.. Jessi, can I ask you a favour?" Tiffany asked

"What is it?"

"Could you set me up for a blind date?"

"WHAT?!" Jessica stared at her cousin as if she has completely lost her mind

"Why all of a sudden?" She added

"Well, I wanted to know what it feels like to date someone here in Korea and you said it youself that most people would go on a blind date. Besides, I think this will help me come up with a better article." Tiffany said

"Are you really sure?" Jessica asked

"Yes" Tiffany replied

Although Jessica is still a bit skeptical about it, she decided to help her cousin.

 

 

Taeyeon was on his way to a coffee shop, when he saw Tiffany enter the bookstore just across the street

He followed her inside and hide from her. He pulled out his phone and Texted her "Hey, Are you working right now?"

Tiffany read his message and replied "Yeah, but I'm not in the office, I'm actually looking for a book that I could use."  then she pressed send

She is busy going through books when someone tapped her shoulder and asked her "Book about what?"

That familar voice made her turn, his face was just inches away from her. She stared at his deep brown eyes then the smile he has on his lips.

Her heart started racing making her cheeks blush. She can't take her eyes off his lips, it's as if they're inviting her to kiss them.

Taeyeon on the other hand kept still, although he knows how awkward their positions are, he stared at the beautiful face in front of him.

He watched her face slowly turn red when her eyes met his. He tried really hard to restrain himself but he can't, slowly he moved his face closer to her.

Tiffany realized what is happening but she didn't do anything Taeyeon's lips slowly approaching hers made her heart beat even faster.

She closed her eyes waiting for his lips to touch hers.

When Taeyeon saw her close her eyes, he closed his.

He was about to kiss her when somone from the other aisle accidentally dropped a book.

Both of them were taken by surprise and stared at one another before looking away while blushing.

One of the staff asked them if they need help.

"No, thank you." both of them refused at the same time.

When the staff walked away, Taeyeon turned to Tiffany and asked her "So, would you like to grab a cup of coffee after this?"

"I would love to" Tiffany eye smiled at him

 

Back in the office Jessica tried to call the guys she previously went on a blind date with but most of them don't even want to talk to her.

Most of them are still annoyed of her for not showing up after she agreed when they asked her for a second date.

When she thought she won't be able to find a date for her cousin, she thought of an idea.

She dialed a familiar number and was able to convince the person on the other line.

 

Taeyeon and Tiffany went to the coffee shop. Taeyeon was the first one to break the awkward silence.

"So where do you live?" He asked

"I'm currently staying at Jessica's house. I used to live in the US with my dad, I just moved here two weeks ago." She answered

"Really, well at least you can speak korean and you're with your cousin, that alone can help you adjust faster" Taeyeon said

"What about you?" Tiffany asked

"Right now I'm I'm living with my friend Yuri. I moved to Seoul more than a year ago." He answered

"Where are you originally from?" she said

"I came from a city south of Seoul" He said

"What about your family?" She added

"I haven't had any communication with them. And I since they didn't even bother stopping me from leaving back then, I assumed they don't want to have me as their son anymore, after all, who would want a good for nothing person as a part of their family" He said with a bitter laugh but with his fist clenched

She felt really sorry for him, the pain written on his face made it hard for her to stop the tears from falling from her eyes.

"Why are you crying? Is my story really that dramatic?" Taeyeon said while trying to make her laugh

She only let out a small chuckle and smiled at him.

"I didn't know you've gone through so much" Tiffany thougt

"Shouldn't you be back at work? You said you're working on something and I don't want to take up much of your time anymore" He said

"You don't me to keep you company?" She teased

"No, of course not, I didn't mean to make it sound like tha.." Taeyeos cut off by Tiffany's quick peck on his cheek

"You're so adorable Park Taeyeon" She said and then hurrriedly took off before Taeyeon notice her blushing face

Sitting by himself, his hand touched the part there Tiffany laid her lips on and smiled

He was shocked by Tiffany''s bold action but at the same time he loved it.

After finishing his coffee he went straight to work.

 

 

"Ms. Yang, have you seen Tiffany around?" Jessica asked her receptionist

"Ms. Hwang went out a earlier."

"Thanks." Jessica said

"Tiffany,  where are you? I finally found you a date this friday."  She texted her cousin and went back to her office

While Jessica is in the middle of doing her paperworks, Tiffany came running in with a book on her hand and a huge smile on  her face.

"Hey, what happened to you? Did you get my message?" Jessica stood up and walked to her cousin

"I left my phone in my desk drawer, Jessi I have to tell you something!" 

"Me too, you're going to a blind date this friday." Jessica smiled at her

"err.. o-okay." Tiffany sounded a bit disappointed

"What are you going to tell me?" Jessica asked

"Uhmm. , nothing, forget it" She replied

Jessica crossed her arms, tapped her foot and raised and her eyebrow.

"Spill it." She demanded

"Gosh, no need to act like that, I'm just teasing you." Tiffany laughed

She then told her everything that has happened

The two girls were squealing and jumping around Jessica's office.

Although the office is sound proof, Jessica forgot to pull down the blinds so all of the staff saw the two of them through the glass window

 

The bar was busy and as usual girlsare seen lined up near the bar.

Noticing that Taeyeon would smile once in a while, they thought they could take the opportunity to atleast talk to him but what they didn't know is he is still trying to replay the things that had happened earlier inside his head.

Sunny approached Taeyeon and looked at hime in a cute way

"You need something from me right?" He knew her all too well

"Tae Tae, will you do noona a favour?" Sunny used her aegyo on Taeyeon

She knew Taeyeon can't say no to her with her aegyo mode on, not because he finds it really cute but rather he only agrees to whatever she ask just to make her stop.

"Sunny, you know I don't have any other choice right? So I'm begging you, please stop with that aegyo thing and just use it on Sooyoung." Taeyeon calmly pleaded

"Okay then, I want you to take a day off on friday and I want you to go and meet someone at Jamsil Station at 5 PM." Sunny explained

"What for?" Taeyoen was curious about it

"Just go there. No more questions" Sunny said

 

"Why not make it more fun?"  Sunny thought

She called Jessica and said "Okay, the guy I'm telling you about said yes"

"Thank you Sunny, I knew I made the right decision when I asked for your help" Jessica said

"But there's one thing I want you to know, that guy has an obsessed ex girlfriend and he broke up with her long ago, she would follow him whenever he has blind dates and tries to ruin it, I think it would be better if you follow them without them knowing, you know just in case." Sunny said while trying to sound serious and fighting the urge to laugh out loud.

"I got it. Thanks for the info. I better go back to work now. Bye" Jessica said

"Bye."

She then dialed Yuri's phone number and said the exact same thing except she said that it was Taeyeon who is going out on a blind date and the girl's obssed ex boyfriend beats up the guy she goes out with and asked him to watch Taeyeon secretly while he's on his date

"I would love to see how it will go for the four of them" Sunny giggled
