TAEYEON'S POV

 

It has been a week since I saw that girl and for some odd reasons, I just can't get it off my head.

Yuri asked me to pick him up from work since he knows that I'm stuck at home.

My phone rings and I smiled as I found out who it is.

"Hi babe, what's up" the angelic voice said

"Oh, nothing I was just on my way to pick up Yuri from work then after that I was thinking of going out for a jog along han river." I smiled.

However I felt guilty knowing the reason behind my sudden plan of going to han river is not because I want to go jogging but to see if I can see her again.

"Why don't you and Yuri come by and join me and Jessica for dinner?"

"That sounds like a good idea, I'll see you later, Bye."

"Bye, love you Tae."

"Love you too."

 

I saw the dance studio not too far ahead and recalled what Yuri told me about the person he is currently working with.

Should I avoid him like what I did this past few years or could this be a sign that my past is slowly catching up to me.

I didn't notice the traffic lights changed to green until the car behind me started to honk like crazy.

After parking my car, I dialed Yuri's number but he's not picking up so I decided to text him instead.

"Come meet me by the door." He replied

Upon reachingthe door, I saw Yuri talking and laughing with someone who is wearing a red hoodie and a white snapback.

"Tae! You're here, I want you to meet someone" he smiled at me

"!" I thought.

I wasn't ready to meet him yet, not here, not today.

Hyoyeon turned around and faced me, his smile faded and his face went blank.

I felt my hands getting sweaty.

Yuri, who has no idea on what is happening cheerfuly introduced us to one another.

He faced me and said "Taeyeon, this is Kim Hyoyeon"

"Hyoyeon, this is my best friend.."

"Kim Taeyeon." Hyoyeon finished Yuri's sentence.

"I think you're mistaken, his name is Park Taeyeon" Yuri looked at him confusedly.

"No, I'm not I know him very well and obviously he hasn't told you much about himself." Hyoyeon said

Yuri stared at me with 'what the hell is going on here' look at his face.

"I'll explain it to you later. Hyoyeon, can we talk" 

"Okay, I'll wait for you ouside" Yuri said

Once Yuri was out of our sight everything felt really awkward

"Three years, no phone calls, no e-mails no text message or even a ing letter saying 'Hey guys it's Taeyeon and I'm stil alive.' and now you want to talk?!"

"I'm sorry, I never thought things would turn out like that. Believe me I did not mean to make you guys feel that way"

"Well you just did moron. I'm done talking to you." and he started walking away from me.

"I think saw Nicole. Do you know if she's here?" My question stopped him from  his tracks

"She asked me to pick her up from the airport so of course I do."

"Do you know where she is?"

"I don't have time for this." and he walks away

 

When I got in the car, Yuri was quiet he didn't say anything at all until I asked him.

"What do you want to know?"

"Are you Kim Taeyeon?"

"Kim Taeyeon is my real name, I used a different name when I ran away from home."

"Why?"

"Family issues."

"And what about Kim Hyoyeon?"

"He's one of my bestfriends back then, we basically grew up together so we're more like brothers."

He stayed silent

"I know you're probably mad at me for not telling you.."

"Whoa... I didn't know you and Hyoyeon were really close, tell me what's he like." Yuri asked with his gleaming eyes

"Wait, so you're not mad at me for lying to you?" I asked him

"Well, at first I am but then I thought you had your reasons why you did that and besides, you're my friend.."

"Thanks" I replied

"..and stayng mad at Kim Hyoyeon's childhood friend won't benefit me so I think that's the smartest move." Yuri said

I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior.

I know that he looks up to Hyoyeon but I didn't know he actually worships him.

 

TIFFANY'S POV

 

I tried to keep my mind off how he is recently.

Taeyeon has been acting really strange this past few days and it worries me.

I heared that he took a week off from work but I didn't ask him why because I wanted him to tell me first but he never told

me anything about it.

It seems like he's hiding something from me

Jessica asked me to come into her office, she never do this usually, it must be something important.

"Jessica?" I peeked inside the office and I found her standing by the window, spacing out.

I walked near her and tapped her shoulder.

"Oh, sorry I didn't see you come in." She said

"I called you but you're deep in your thoughts"

"I've been thinking these past few days and I think I'm ready."

"Ready for what?" I asked her

"I don't want to be bothered by this 'What if's' anymore" 

"Jessi, I don't get you, just go straight to the point."

"Can you please ask Yuri out for dinner in my behalf?" She blurted out

"What?! Are you crazy?? You want me to go out on a DATE with my BOYFRIEND's best freind?" I was shocked

"No silly, I want to have a dinner with him and I would look really wierd if I make the first step since it should be him who's asking me out,

so I wanted to look like you set us up for dinner." She smiled sheepishly

"So you're about to tell him that you like him,is that it?" I asked

"No, of course I want to know if he likes me then, I'll tell him I like him" She smiled proudly at herself

"You and your stupid pride Jessica." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Then why don't you and Taeyeon come along, then you two can just go and sit on a different table far away from the two of us." She laughed

"Tell me, who are you and what did you do to my cousin? Where is she?" I asked her

"Tiff, you've been telling me to let him know how I really feel before I regret it," She answered

"And besides, remember the story about the locks? I think it's real, you know after hearing the story from Taeyeon I realized

that it happened for a reason. It's a good thing you didn't open any lock that time so you won't have to worry about the possibility of

liking someone else." Jessica

I suddenly recalled the moment I found a key with a dog tag hidden in the bushes and opening the lock.

"Do you really think those stories were real?" I asked her

"Personally, no but things between me and Yuri works out just fine in the future then, I guess the are." She answered

I love Taeyeon but could the Taeyeon that I'm supposed to be with is someone named Kim Taeyeon and not Park Taeyeon?

"Earth to Tiffany, are you there?" Jessica snapped her fingers in front of me

"H-Huh? What?"

"I was asking you if you could call you boyfriend and take his bestfriend with him so that the four of us can go for dinner."

"Oh, okay, sorry."

I picked up my phone and dialed Taeyeon's number.

 

NO ONE'S POV

Taeyeon and Yuri arrived 20 minutes early than the girls.

"Yul, I hope you won't tell anyone what I just told you about me, especially Tiffany. I wanted to tell her personally when I'm ready" Taeyeon said

"No worries buddy, I'll keep it for as long as you want me to." Yuri replied

"I'm sorry we're late" Tiffany said while giving Taeyeon a peck on the lips.

"You were not late, we're just early" Taeyeon replied

Jessica came in the restaurant a few moments after

"Jessica, i'ts good that you can come with Tiffany. I'm tired of Yuri complaining about being the third wheel whenever he

is with me and Tiffany" Taeyeon said

The two girls chuckled at Taeyeon's comment

"Hey, for your information, I am not the third wheel, I am the majestic unicycle and you two love birds are my training wheels." Yuri retorted

His comment made the three laugh out loud.

"Shall we go on then, I'm starving" Yuri complained

"You know what sometimes you make me wonder whether it is Sunny whom you are related with or Sooyoung." Tiffany joked

"Everyone gets hungry period. Enough talking please and let's just go in" And he marched inside the restaurant.

The waitress welcomed them and Tiffany requested for two tables for two.

"Why two?" Taeyeon asked Tiffany

"Because I don't want to lose my appetite once you two startet getting all lovey dovey infront of me." Jessica said

"Hahaha, okay I get it, we won't promise so why don't you just join us?" Taeyeon replied

"Nah, I don't want to hear Tiffany nagging at me when we get home for ruining a 'Romantic Dinner with her Taetae'." Jessica said sarcastically

and was led to the other table by the waitress.

Taeyeon stared at Yuri and asked him "You want to come with us?"

"Yeah, why not?" Yuri replied

Taeyeon gave him an 'Are you kidding me' look which made Tiffany giggle.

"You kept on complainig about being the third wheel  and yet you kept on insisting in coming with us." Taeyeon said

"What do you want me to do? You want me to go and eat dinner by myself?" Yuri replied

"Weren't you listening when I told the waitress that we need TWO tables for TWO?" Tiffany smiled at him

"Y-You want me t-to sit with J-Jessica?" Yuri stuttered

"Unless you don't want to, I mean we can just ask the waitress for a biger table that can sit four people" Taeyeon teased

Without any words, Yuri scurried towards Jessica's table leaving Taeyeon and Tiffany giggling at his behaviour

Sorry folks for the long wait, I just finished my exams and now I'm back! :)
