He was everything to me, he knew me. Everything about me. He even saved my life a couple of times, as we fought side by side in the midst of battle. He was modest, humble; he didn't take credit for the good deeds he had done.

He was, I guess, the perfect human, in a sense.

But he wasn't human.He was my friend, my companion, my ever faithful dog. And since he can't tell you his story, I'm telling his story. The way he told it to me.

This is a story about a man and his best friend. But his friend is not, in fact, a human really. But a dog, a dog who has stayed alongside him faithfully throughout the years. This is a story inspired about the Chinese soldier and his dog, who he had to leave due to being freed from his duties.
